Shockwaves ripped across the battlefield. The First Immortal slid backward slightly. Just one step. His eyes flicked toward the immortal with mild curiosity. “Still strong.” The immortal’s voice was pure fury. “You should’ve killed me when you had the chance.” He attacked again. Dark power exploded around him like a black storm. Reality warped violently as the two immortals collided. Each strike cracked the air like thunder. Seraphine jumped back as the battlefield erupted into chaos again. The remaining Ancients surged forward. “Kill the Guardian!” one roared.

It didn't matter what the team did or what amount of power they used; the Asuras just kept coming like an endless sea of stars. The Asuras armor-like skin had become so strong that Edith's blade and Anima Morning Star both broke on impact. The two Immortals had to summon their weapons again and again during the fight just to avoid getting killed. They had to look for a new way to kill these Immortals, and that way was to attack them at points where their armour didn't cover—the gaps in the skin that revealed their glowing orange flesh.

I know I kept putting off the idea of making alliances with other countries, but it something that needs to be done. As things were wrapping up with King Gabriel decide we should have a drink to seal the friendship between our kingdoms made.
