The Light's Shadow

The Light's Shadow

Because he is patient He is kind He does not envy He is... VIƬƬӨЯIӨ ƧƬΛПZӨᄂIӨ Past- July 22nd, 2032 Johnny, Jessie, and I all entered The Blazing Lights. The Blazing Lights is one of the biggest clubs there is on the earth. So, it was going to be more fun than all the other times we went out clubbing. The first thing I see once entering the club is the sweating bodies dancing to loud, bass-filled music. The bright, blinding, strobe lights illuminate the otherwise pitch-black club. I guess that’s why they call it The Blazing Lights.

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

Lunch was being served outdoors beneath the leafy splendor of a ring of flame trees. Beyond them, flight after flight of shallow steps adorned with classical statues descended to the white beach below. Demis Agelastos gave Lara a good look. He had a fiercely amused scrutinizing gaze. Flustered, Lara dropped down into her seat. One of the maids had awakened her and she hadn’t had much time to get ready. When she glanced up again, Christophe’s brilliant golden eyes were wandering with indolent satisfaction over her in a look as unashamedly physical as a caress. A deep flush of awareness colored her skin, making her desperately conscious of the unfamiliar ache between her thighs.

I can't fully express my admiration for you Emma Swan. You really are the best. I can hardly put down each of your books. I never regret everything I spent on your books. Stay safe and keep on writing
Yoko Fabella
Emma, ive read MOST of your books posted on this app. Its short, but very precise, character development wise for the leads, it was very good. Some chapters have amazing cliff hangers you wouldnt want to miss. Def every penny spent on this app is worth it reading your books. Keep it up!

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

By the beach, the police had a perimeter set up, not allowing anyone unauthorized to enter! The fishing boats were all mobilized, and the whole sea area was cordoned off as they began to search the sea. There were countless white lights on the surface of the sea, and it was incredibly bright. Yet, the surface of the sea was still pitch black. The night was the best camouflage. Shawn stood on the beach. The housekeeper and Fiona were both by Shawn's side, stopping him from doing anything emotional.

It's a good book. But it's too slow burn. So many chapters and still ongoing.... I wish for authornim to find conclusion to end this book. Hopefully a HE together for Shawn and Gale with their twins.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.

The Regretful Ex-wife

The Regretful Ex-wife

Blake blinked her beautiful eyes. Her thoughts snapped back to reality. The Waterfront? Sean's brow wrinkled. Why had Blake brought him to the Waterfront? "We're here, Sean. Let's get down." Sean was still confused when Blake looked gently at him. He inhaled a shallow breath and got out with her. The two of them walked out to the Waterfront, which was a lush expanse of greenery. The view was beautiful. They walked further and saw a large stretch of man-made beach. In front of the beach was an azure blue sea, glittering under the sunlight.

Ex-wife's return: Spoilt by Billionaire husband

Ex-wife's return: Spoilt by Billionaire husband

Twinkling lights were woven through archways decorated with fresh flowers—gardenias, lilies, and the slightest hint of lavender—creating a floral haven right by the sea. The centerpiece of the beach setup was a beautiful white gazebo draped with soft fabric, which framed the altar. The entire scene was framed with strings of fairy lights that would glow as dusk settled in, casting a gentle warmth over the ceremony. The scent of fresh ocean air mixed with flowers filled the beach, making everything feel fresh, alive, and yet almost surreal. It was perfect.

Submitting To The Devil - The Devil's Snare - Book Two

Submitting To The Devil - The Devil's Snare - Book Two

I'm itching to turn every light off and cut out all light for anyone searching for something to guide their way here, to me. The seconds tick by until he's finished, and I slap every light switch to swamp us in darkness when he begins to stand. "Bee?" He questions me as the house falls into darkness. The silence around us stretches out only as far as Alexandra's laugh allows. She knows, god, she knows that they're coming. "Isaw lightout at sea," I whisper to Niko. "She's guiding them here. I'm sure of it!" I tell him desperately, knowing he probably won't believe me, but I need to tell him; he needs to know.

Sunshine and The Beast

Sunshine and The Beast

Althea The world was an echo of distant voices and blurred movements when I opened my eyes. The brightness above me was sharp, unnatural, making me squint against the sterile white glow of fluorescent lights. The steady beeping of a machine filled the silence between my shallow breaths, and beneath the synthetic scent of antiseptic, I could faintly pick up Tristan’s cologne—woodsy and clean. A hospital.

The Dead Light The sky changed first. Not a storm. Not dusk. Just… wrong. As they sailed away from the Cradle of Salt, a haze rolled in, yellow-gray and glowing faintly—not from the sun, but from something below the horizon. It lit the clouds from underneath, like the ocean had grown a second sky and decided it would burn instead of shine. Jonas stood at the helm, sweat clinging to his brow despite the cold. “Why is the light coming up from the sea?”

What the Sea Could Not Keep

What the Sea Could Not Keep

Robert Blackwell promised to marry me, then postponed it thirty-eight times. The fifth time, a car crash broke eight of his ribs, and I signed seven critical-condition notices. The tenth time, on the way to get our marriage license, he and the car were thrown into the sea, and his suit was torn apart by sharks. By the thirty-eighth time, his heart disease had worsened and his life was hanging by a thread. Eight months pregnant, I changed flights three times and flew twenty-three hours across half the world to find him. When the door opened, a little boy who looked exactly like him lifted his face and said, "I thought Mom was back." Robert rushed out barefoot, panic written all over his

The Billionaire's Obsession Came Too Late

The Billionaire's Obsession Came Too Late

A spike of pain shot down my spine from my right shoulder forcing a choked gasp from my lips. I wanted to sit there in the mud and scream. "You stupid selfish man," I whispered as I looked down at his pale features. "I won't let you leave me alone." I looked over my shoulder, forcing my blurred vision to focus on the distant hill road. The storm clouds were finally parting allowing the stark light of the full moon to illuminate the treacherous terrain. High up on the ridge, tucked between the jagged black rocks a single yellow light was pulsing against the darkness. It was a beacon, a fragile promise of life in a landscape of absolute desolation.
