The sound of a deep huff and a growl. It was a bear. Ari climbed off of her in a flash and shifted to Nikau as he darted out the door. She could hear a viscous growl rip from Nikau, followed by a growl from the bear. Tatiana shifted into Talia and darted out to find Nikau and a black bear snarling at each other. The bear stood up on his hind legs and swiped his claws at Nikau. Nikau pulled his lips back and gnashed his teeth at the bear in warning. He showed Jubilee his sign, which resulted in Jubilee rolling her eyes. Trent and Lizzie arrived then with Bea dressed as a lobster in a giant cooking pot, which meant that Bea became the most popular person there. Even Seth demanded that he get a picture with his niece. Bea yawned and fell asleep in her pot soon thereafter, and Trent carried her around the party for the rest of the evening. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, may we have your attention please?” Caleb yelled into the crowd as he stood on an ottoman. “Excellent. Glad everyone could make it tonight.”

White, silk wool shot out of his leg and started to cover the bear with it until it couldn't move anymore. The bear was trying to struggle and constantly growled as it felt helpless. I watched in horror as the creature bent down and sunk its teeth into the bear's throat and started drinking its blood. The bear made a screeching sound and stared at us helplessly. "It's time to go. I have seen enough," Ambrose said. "Hop on my back as soon as I shift." I kept my eyes on the spider-centaur man. He was still enjoying his bear feast. I nodded to let Ambrose know that I was in on his plan.

Third Person's POV Atticus and Harris walk into the backyard and are immediately greeted by the loud joyful sound of children playing throughout the backyard. There's a large bounce house where half of the kids are playing, and the other half are taking turns riding on the large bear. The children giggle as they chase behind the bear that's larger than an Alpha wolf. Beast is incredibly large and scary, but he carefully moves through the backyard with the children closely tagging along beside him. He's anything but scary to the children. He's the gentle giant as Mark calls his mate.

Angel said grabbing Kimberly's hand as they went in the park, Zhul lazily followed behind, but smirked when he saw how happy both girls were. The three of them went on numerous rides. Some were small, some were scary, and some were fun, while others were boring. They went to the petting zoo, where they played with rabbits. Kimberly and Angel happily feed and petted the bear. zhul however remained indifferent. Angel tried waving a bear in his face. Calling him a "Mr. Bear Pants". They made their way to the buffet, where angel and kimberly ate all the bear shaped food. zhul only drank soda; he refused to give in to the bear gimmick.

“You had fun.” “I hate that you’re right.” “Mmhm.” The rest of the day turns into a blur of games, terrible carnival food, and Greg spending an unreasonable amount of money trying to win me an oversized stuffed bear. “You know you can just buy one, right?” I ask. “That’s quitter talk.” Twenty minutes later, he finally wins after aggressively dominating a basketball game booth. Greg hands me the ridiculously giant bear proudly. “There. Victory.” I stare at the thing. “This is bigger than me.”

It was enormous, nearly as tall as I was, its soft fur practically begging to be hugged. I couldn't stop the smile that spread across my face. The sight of the giant teddy bear, so out of place yet so perfect, filled me with a warmth I hadn't felt in months. It was a simple, sweet gesture, but it touched me deeply.
