There wasn’t a lot of room for our bear to run here without going beyond Jack’s territory, but there were enough streets to circle a few times before we’d get bored. I shifted into my bear, who immediately nudged Elena’s, nipping at her neck and nudging her around. They played together like that for several moments before Elena’s Bear straightened and yipped. I took that to mean it was time to run, which I was more than ready for. “Don’t worry about us,” Amy said flatly. “We’ll be right here, just waiting on the two of you.” We ignored her unspoken complaint and took off. Well, Elena did.

It was a book they had read countless times, but each time, it held a new magic, a new wonder for Theo. “Once upon a time,” Hazel began, her voice soft and soothing, “there was a little bear named Barnaby who loved to go on adventures.” Theo’s eyes widened, his attention captivated by the story. He listened intently, his tiny fingers tracing the illustrations, his imagination soaring with each word Hazel spoke. The story of Barnaby the bear, his adventures in the forest, his encounters with talking squirrels and mischievous rabbits, filled the room with a sense of magic and wonder. Theo giggled at Barnaby’s antics, his heart filled with joy.

Huge belly laughter rumbled out of me when I realized what was written: DADDY TO BEE I put mine on and like Hardin’s it had the insane engraving. The belts were also yellow and black. “Congratulations guys.” Col pulled us in a big manly hug and we just blended in with the crowd. Trinity had stolen Faith from us and we knew it was rather futile to try to take her back. After a few heart beats, the music paused and someone tapped the mic to have our attention. “Greetings everyone. I am so delighted to be with you today and I would rather say; Trinity Scott throws a badass party!”

sound. Angela's reaction was immediate. She jumped up in excitement, her whole body seeming to light up. In front of them was a store with a large, colorful display featuring characters from the Rainbow Pony show. Standing outside was someone in a full-body costume of a pink pony with a sparkly mane. "Arabella, look! It's Pinkie!" Angela squealed, pointing at the mascot. She turned to Bella, eyes wide with wonder. "It's really her!" Bella smiled down at the little girl, clearly pleased by her reaction. "Do you want to take a picture with her?" she asked.

Wyatt The Beast blocked me out as I tried to force my way through the chaos of energy discharging throughout our territory. My panic and distress were nothing to him as he glanced over our shoulder, towards the island, towards Bri, before he pursued his trekking around the swamp. The boys whined in protest, Beau elicited a short-lived snarl before The Beast projected his aura forcing everyone to comply. Heads down, ears slack, tails tucked.

I looked at him, shocked by his words, but I smiled because he was so happy with his teddy bear. I swiped my card and entered my pin as Adam dressed his bear. He had a little bit of difficulty, but the cashier helped him. After I finished paying, the cashier put together a cub condo for Adam's bear and put the bear and his birth certificate inside. Adam took the box and had a massive smile on his face. It made me smile to see Adam so happy. It wasn't that Adam was rarely pleased. I mean, he was always joyful when we were together, but he was serious. It was difficult to believe that he would be happy over a teddy bear.

Grayson pushes him towards the door and Darren rushes out. “Right, let’s go to the club, make sure Big Bear is on the lookout for him.” Grayson walks out and we follow. I’m surprised he didn’t hurt Darren, it isn’t like him not to make blood drip. Walking into the local biker club we sit and Big Bear walks over to us. It’s nearly eleven. So I guess home after this. “Boys, can I help?” Big Bear sits waiting.

Phoebe wiped the cream from Amy's chin with a chuckle. "How about we hit the amusement park first? Then we can catch a movie in the afternoon." The way their eyes lit up made even the weight of her phone in her pocket feel a little lighter. "Three times on the carousel!" Amy demanded, holding up jam-sticky fingers. "I want to try the shooting game," Jeremy said, sneaking a dab of blueberry jam onto Amy's nose. At the door, Anila chased after them to stuff a thermos into Phoebe's bag.

Bear asked with a grin. “No.” Riffraff said stepping up to the group. “A threat would be telling you to get in ring with her.” “Come on, Bear.” Taz teased as she hit the bag harder with her left hand. “Thanks, no.” he shook his head. Taz took her last few hits and grinned at the kid working the game. His mouth hung open and his eyes were wide. The girls were debating what stuffed animal prize they wanted. After a hushed huddle, a giant pink bear was handed over to Bear.

“Gunner will take you home. We will all see you Saturday, tomorrow night.” Bear says ‘all’ like he is making Dante realise he has to come as well. “You don’t have to. Isn’t the party just so you can meet my family and them hand me over? Just send a car to collect me.” I won’t fight, this is set, but I will get answers from my mother and from Jamie. I will find my freedom in my own way. “Not a chance. It would be rude and ignorant to ignore the party and just send a car. But, on the other hand, it will be good to see your city again, for Dante, that is. He hasn’t left our city for years.” Bear laughs, looking at him.
