Beast Tamer's Rebirth: National Treasure Edition Novels & Stories

Ezra’s sharp senses had caught the hidden device before I had—a Beast Lure, buried shallow in the soil here. Orcs have big frames, green skin, those jutting tusks gleaming even in shadow. Six, maybe seven feet tall, every muscle corded with strength. Not clever like goblins, they hunt in packs of five to eight, relying on brute force. The lure in my bag changes the hunt entirely. Instead of me tracking them, it will bring them to me… all of them in the radius. That’s its danger—once activated, you fight until the waves are done, no pause, no escape. If your stamina breaks before they do, you die under a wall of muscle and rage. Most challengers wouldn’t risk it.

“Standing here naked with her peeking through her fingers like a skittish rabbit is inefficient. Let me take over while the clothes dry.” “You behave,” I warned. He laughed softly in my skull. “Scout’s honor.” I let the change come. Bone cracked and reformed with familiar violence as fur ripped outward from my skin. Horns pushed through my scalp in a jolt of pain that quickly dulled into something like relief. My vision darkened and sharpened all at once as my body reshaped into the weight and power of the beast I carried. When it was done, I stretched once before the hearth and circled into place on the rug, curling with a low, satisfied sound.

His head was completely bald and a snake tattoo ran from his chest to twist around his neck, up his temple and ended halfway along his skull. The snake has two heads. “I'm gonna get those back right?” I asked, motioning to my gear. “We'll see.” Snake tattoo replied, mimicking my earlier smile with his teeth wide open. We began the long walk to The Viper. The rookie walked in front, shoulders high obviously proud of this important role he got to play. Bald headed snake guy walked beside me and the last one brought up the rear, his gun trained on my spine. I tried to map out the turns we took but it quickly became clear they had been anticipating that so we kept taking a lot of unnecessary tur

With his soul sensing, Zephyr Khan quickly found the King of Beasts that was hidden. At this moment, the King of Beasts' strength had increased by quite a bit. Evidently, during this period, the King of Beasts had not been idle. In this Immortal Secret Land, there were many supreme treasures. As long as you had the ability, you would be able to find all kinds of supreme treasures. After being sealed for so many years, the King of Beasts' strength was naturally greatly reduced. It was like Nine Netherbird, so once he broke the seal, he entered a crazy stage of recovery.

The elders nodded but the fear remained in their eyes as they watched their King slowly slip away and the unholy monster begin to take his place. Jessebelle raised her well trimmed eyebrow and asked, "Who is her?" her face turned down in a frown. The king sighed, having no patience for the vexing woman beside him. And all of a sudden, like a wave it hit him... The sensation of his mates blood being drawn. Any control he had of his beast was gone as in the next few seconds he had trasformed completely with low growl. The elders all stood up and stepped back as the beast ran through the room and out of the meeting hall. Jessebelle stood up her eyes wide with fear and confusion before her knees

But the occasional flickers it gave showed that it was not dead, but alive! The strange crystal in Aiden’s hand was a treasure from his family. It was called a Beast Crystal and it was used to locate members of Aiden’s race by inducing hallucinations of uncommon beasts in the minds of the victims. If the victim slept soundly without any hallucinations, that person was a regular old human. If there were results, then it meant that the person was of Aiden’s race – the Beastman Race! The user of the crystal could tell what was happening because the crystal allowed them to view the contents of the dream through the eyes of the conjured creature. So while they may not be able to see the beast, th

My mother, Keenan. I can't leave them, I must get back. So once again I push myself one last time and when the beast's head is close to mine, I lash out and bite just bellow his right ear. He whines from pain but still doesn't release me. He then turns his head up and howls and then soon later, six more wolves appear around us. I know that this fight is really over now. I won't escape the seven wolves, especially with my wounded legs. So I stop struggling. Now, my fight is over. But if not now, I will still find a way to get out.

When I opened my eyes, I was standing on the Fate Platform again. Moonlight covered the ancient altar of beast bones, and the endless forest stretched beneath us. Beside me, Selene’s breathing changed. She remembered too. The Beast God’s wolf-shaped shadow rose above the platform. “In the Beast Realm, you may choose one of two paths. A Warrior Female will gain strength, claws, speed, and the power to hunt. A Blessed Female will gain rare fertility and a scent that attracts powerful males.”

I wondered if he had broken my leg, so I wouldn't try to ever escape again. "You should rest," his voice said again. "What are you?" I finally found my voice. "I am the beast you were sent to tame," he said. He walked out of the room, shutting the door before I could say another word. I was more confused than I was earlier. One thing he said was certain: he was no human. How could he change eye color so quickly unless he was a beast? But his last words were a little confusing; no one sent me here; he actually bought me and is holding me hostage in this shithole.

I did everything to be a good friend, only to be treated as my so-called best friend’s scapegoat. When her husband found cigarette ash in their house, she claimed I was the one smoking. When she snuck off for a private rendezvous with her lover, she told him she was celebrating my birthday. And when she got pregnant, she pinned the blame on me again, declaring I was consumed with jealousy—that I had spiked her drink and hired someone to violate her. Enraged, her husband marched to my doorstep wielding a blade and hacked me to death. When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the exact day she had asked me to cover for her affair.
