"I know of another hideout in the Eastern District! There are dozens of humans there as well! You can't kill me now! I'm still of use to you! I can give you a full name list of the Elders' Council!" The chief officer looked at Felix in disgust before turning around and handing me a revolver. It was heavy, solid, made with silver, and filled with pure silver bullets. "Ms. Davies, according to the Emergency Avoidance Clause of the Supernatural Beings Act, when the victim is faced with an extremely dangerous and highly aggressive supernatural being, the victim has the right of 'final defense' against it. "This is especially so if the supernatural being attempts to attack the victim again." Afte

He knows exactly what that means, the color drains from his face, the dungeon, a place nobody speaks about, nobody wants to see. A place reserved for people unfortunate enough to earn my personal attention hidden beneath the mansion lies one of the oldest magical artifacts in existence. An Ancient Truth Revealer Shell, cruel and very much effective as it doesn't ask questions, it drags answers out of people, the shell traps victims inside the worst moments of their lives and their greatest fears, their deepest regrets, darkest memories again and again and again until their minds break. Then they talk, everyone talks eventually and nobody survives their own nightmares forever.

The kind that made you suspicious even when you wanted to trust him. “You know,” he said, leaning against the edge of my desk with a casual air, “there are ways to get what you want without waiting for fate to decide.” I raised an eyebrow, folding my arms. “I don’t want to buy a mate.” He chuckled softly. “It’s not as… crude as it sounds. I have contacts. People who deal in rare things, wolves from distant packs like Asia and Africa, unclaimed or rogue. If you’re serious about having an heir even with this curse, I can find you a mate who fits your needs.”

“I thought you were dead.” “Me, too,” he whispered. He lifted his arm into the air, drawing attention to his forearm. “It’s gone,” he whispered. “The tattoo is gone. It’s broken. We broke the curse.” “You’re not the beast anymore?” I whispered, tracing circles over his skin. “No. I’m all yours,” he whispered.

As the greatest magician in the kingdom, he was way above mere animals, he could take down a bear with one spell so there was no match for him. He kept at it till it got a little dark and then he decided it was time to return to the king and the tent. He used a spell to make some of the dead animals lighter and carried them till he got back to the tent where the king was seated lazily being massaged by a maid.

Remembering something, I quickly added, “Could I use the 2-star library for a while before taking the examination?” His eyes furrowed the more, before saying, after his eyes saw my recluse ring, “It seems you might have some potentials. The 2-star Beast Collection Vault is normally open at any time for 2-star beast tamers, but I'll make an exception for you. Take my 2-star badge and use it to gain entry there. Know that there's no second time compromisation.” My eyes lit up as he unclipped his emblem from his chest. It appeared that this middle-aged man was a 2-star beast tamer!

If a normal person wanted to tame one, he would have a little hard time but if he was a little stronger, he'd probably succeed. Divine beast, a rare type of a beast that is hard to tame by a normal person. Their kinds were ferocious and stronger than the spirit beast and sacred beast but once tamed, they would only listen and obey their master. This type of beast was usually the last evolution a normal guardian beast could achieve, however, there were other rare cases that happened in the past and probably up until today. Ethereal beast, the almost peak level that a guardian beast could achieve. This was the strongest in terms of physical attacking and magic among the three evolution of beas

"Berserker needs to eat." Knowing I should just leave it alone, I asked the question. "Berserker?" Asher gave me a toothy smile. "My bear: Berserker. Your tiger is Junior. Taryk's panther is Smoke. Atlas' wolf is Mr. Hyde. Ransom is Tonto. And Saint is Ten." He made a face at the last man. "You took all my fun by already having a name for your inner beast." "Thank Gaia for that," Saint said.

I want this token to be remembered for all eternity. 'Are you sure about this, Greko? I heard that he pampered his luna to the moon.' 'Do not tell me that you are getting scared of that whore? The behemoth lost because she summoned the Phoniex from the elven continent. But summoning a supernatural beast like that one needs offering and great strength. I am damn sure that the whore is recuperating right now behind that bastard.'

A very large and gruesome looking creature with hammer like fists was beating away at the lonely car near the portal, from which he had apparently entered Etherea. "What's that?" Cash asked softly. "It's an ogre." I answered. Winterlash grunted and handed us a pair of tranquilliser guns. I handed mine back and patted the buckle strapped to my thigh where my gun was. "Don't harm it. Just call the cleaning services when you're done." He said. I gave him a nod and started to walk out of the room when I heard a squeak. "What about me?" And I remembered with a curse about Agent Cash.
