It lay down on the ground, making itself smaller as Alia wolf starts to sniff us, taking in our scent. My beast stands up and sniffs the air picking up on the scent of a rabbit. It takes off through the forest on all fours with Alia wolf right behind us, tracking the rabbit down. The beast catches the rabbit killing it instantly, picking the rabbit up in our mouth and walk over placing it on the ground in front of Alia, providing for our mate. She accepts what we have provided for her as she starts to eat the rabbit. She eats half, then uses her nose to push the other half towards us, sharing her meal. After my beast quickly eats the rabbit, I take control back without having to fight for it

Rora seemed hesitant to tell me the story. Just at the mention of 'true mate,' I was down for the long story. "Was his mate someone in the pack?" I ask. "No. His true mate was a rogue and raised by hunters. Her name was Lillith," she said with a slight emphasis on the word 'rogue.' Rora didn't sound like she really liked Lillith a lot, and I was slightly curious as to why she used the word 'was' instead of 'is.'

His voice had uncertainty, as if he wasn’t sure what he saw. “A bunny?” My eyes fluttered open, and my gaze went to where he was staring. He was right. There was a cute, little, fuzzy white rabbit staring at us. What was a rabbit doing in The Intertwine? It was odd. A place that was the home of monsters was also the home of an innocent bunny rabbit? How come? The little creature hopped towards me, and a low growl rumbled in Raphael’s chest. He pulled me behind him, blocking me from it.
