The explosion wasn’t a lot but it had been enough to cause some major damage.
Some of Klaus’ soldiers were sprawled on the floor suffering from several degrees of injuries ranging from minor bruises to limb dislocations. I gasped at the sight, frightened by what I’d seen.
As Klaus began to help his soldiers, one after the other, get to their feet, I walked up to one of the female soldiers who was now standing in a corner, alone and with tears streaming down her face.
I whispered; “hello?”
At the sound of my voice, she turned to me. There was blood covering most of her uniform but from her stance, I knew that she wasn’t injured. Her eyes were red and her face was blotchy. “Ma’am,” she curtsie
