You remember the blue thingies that were floating around Mason at the ceremony?," Blake explains and I nod. "Well that is the power that was handed over to him. It also comes with a different kind of venom. This kind of venom has the werewolf pathogen which enters a human's bloodstream to turn them into a werewolf. If Mason were to bite some body before he became King, he would either kill them due to the body thinking it's an infection or it would take but they would die from the pain." He finishes.

The events of the past day flooded my memory, and I plopped down on the bed in defeat. "Who brought me here?" I asked. "Damien, the Lycan King." She shrugged, and my heart stopped. It couldn't be.
