Behind Her Eyes Book Summary Mga Nobela at Kwento

I place my hand on her back, trying to soothe her. "It hurts." She mumbles in between sobs. I move some of the hair from her face and can feel that she's running warmer than usual. She looks up at me, and her eyes are glowing purple. I take in a sharp breath, not expecting her to be showing any signs of her powers developing, but I give her a small, reassuring smile.

Like she might break if touched too hard. I sat beside her. She turned slightly toward me, trying to see. Then asked— “Is it you?” My throat tightened. “Yes.” My hand lifted unconsciously, brushing her cheek. “What happened to your eyes?” “There’s pressure… I can’t see clearly.” I waved my hand in front of her. She followed the movement faintly. “Shapes,” she said. “Just shapes.” Anger surged through me. “Who did this?” She explained simply— The blocking. The chase.

But, this time he is doing all this for his revenge. Finally, opening her hazel eyes, she was stuck to the spot. Does anyone is here to save her from this evil man ? Her eyes roamed around the lavish washroom, and turning her head , her shuddering fingers swiftly locked the room. Lowering her head in utter defeat, crying at her situation, she knows that the beast outside is enjoying her every tear. Unable to comprehend more about this helpless state,

⸻ And a woman stepped out. ⸻ Silver eyes. ⸻ Dark hair. ⸻ A calm smile. ⸻ Exactly like the girl from the memory. ⸻ Exactly like Nyra. ⸻ She held a black book in her hands. 📖🖤 ⸻ The title glowed. ⸻ THE END OF REALITY ⸻ Nyra smiled. ⸻ Then looked directly at Ilyaan. ⸻ And spoke the words that shattered everything.

She took the book from the table and placed it in between us, took both of the bird eyes and put one on each of my palm. " What are these?" I was just being curious. " A vulture's eyes", she snapped and continued rummaging through the pages of the book. The eyes were still moist, as if it was just cut out from the poor vulture. She took few drops of each of the liquid and rubbed on her palm. " I need your memories of her to determine where she is", she closed my palm in with the eyes, " so I need you to think about her, create her picture in your mind", I nodded.

Something in her quivered, more like fear, but she didn’t dare look away; instead, she gave a pretty smile. I smiled knowing I’m no longer that naive girl. I’m a new creation, so it’s either she leaves now or she faces my wrath. “Let’s dig into her memories,” Grey suggested. “How?” I asked back. “Clear your mind of the distraction and look deep into her eyes” I took a deep breath and silenced the noise around me and stared deep into her ocean blue eyes. At first it felt impossible because all I saw was just her eyes, but no need to give up so easily. I focused my gaze on her, and when I felt like giving up, I found myself in an entire universe.

She was scared, not hurt. “I’m not leaving you again,” I said. “You’re lying,” she said, wiping her eyes. “I’m trying not to.” She looked up at me for a long moment. “Your eyes… they keep changing.” I froze. Malrik stiffened behind me. “Changing how?” I asked carefully. She shrugged in the helpless way traumatized people do when the world stops making sense. “Sometimes they look brown,” she whispered. “Sometimes they look like—” “Like what?”

She takes a few deeper breaths and manages to calm down somewhat, she hears Kai enter the room and looks up. “What do you need?” She laughs, even she hears the slight manic nature of it, “I don’t know.” She shakes her free hand, and turns back to the book. Maybe it held some answers? She’s muttering under her breath, “Colour of fire. I know I saw something in here.” Kai comes and sits next to Ash; she’s shaking and she forces herself to still again. “No. I will not let my fear win. Not now, not ever again.” One more breath and her thoughts sharpen again. “Okay, it was near the end, I remember that much, come on, Eliza.”

To be honest, my libido went up, causing irregular pulses in several parts of my body. We arrived at a room. A woman with horns and red eyes flashed, intercepted. "A new girl again?" She asked. "She's not a prisoner for you to take her soul," Kevin argued without answering the horned woman's question. "So she's not my meal candidate?" I started to get goosebumps. Meal candidate? So the horned girl was going to eat me and Jack brought me here on purpose to... “Jack… who is that woman?” I whispered. “She is… she is… my wife….”

Both were shocked with this incident, Anya looks up and collides with his blue-green eyes. Anya raise her finger and traces on Sebastian's eyes making him shiver with her touch "Your eyes are so beautiful, so pure without any malice." Anya stares into his eyes with admiration and fascination then says "Why you always filled them with negative emotions? Or else they are the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen in my life." Hearing her words Sebastian holds her waist and pulls her closer to him then he touches his forehead with her and mumbles "Stop me before I lose control."
