There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I’d either have an angry mob or the government showing up at my door, and then Alex would lose the last remaining family she had. I growled inside of me, as I stopped walking, and got ready to fight. "Who are you coming out with right now?" I screamed, as I stood still, and tried to balance myself to fight. Though I am not on good terms with my mate, I'm so ready to contact him, if I see that the person behind that tree was someone I can't think of fighting with. Just then, a man came out from behind the trees. "It's just me, and I'm not ready for trouble, so please allow me to get out of this pack without telling the alpha." He pleaded.

"Where are we going?" "Somewhere they can't find us." Suddenly, a growl came from behind us. Alex stopped. I bumped into him. "What?" He turned around. His eyes were glowing. "We're not alone."
