I turned to look at one of my warriors when, to my surprise, it was my friend. "Fuck Dane, you came!" We hugged and patted each other's backs. Then Ace appeared. We shook hands and patted each other on the back in a friendly hug. "Of course, we came. We left Fort and Trent taking care of things, and our women are safe at the palace," Ace reassures me as he walks to his friend and hugs him. Ace grew up with Bella's brothers, and his relief at seeing him fine and alive is palpable. "I'm so fucking glad you guys came," Brent exhales.

He lay on the floor weakly, but Larick didn't stop. Two soldiers come towards me and I slay them with my sharp claws. The battlefield is flowing with blood and heaps of dead bodies. We are winning this war and Morey is losing…pathetically. I kept my eyes on Ace, and he was unstoppable as he slashed and slayed my soldiers repeatedly. He moves so fast, almost like a blur. If it wasn't for him, we would have been done with this war a long time ago. He takes a look around amidst the fighting and sees that his soldiers were dying.

I was going to get him back. I suddenly recalled that Alpha Ace had underestimated me again, he did not believe that my combat skills were great. I had to prove him wrong, I was pretty fast, and I knew just where to hit to incapacitate my opponent.Ace would be a fool not to see past my pretty looks, at least Nick acknowledged that side of me.

His red wolf steps to my side and shakes out his fur. There is something different about him. His Beta Aura is radiating off of him stronger. He snarls loudly, and foam drips from his mouth. He looks feral. The sound of bones cracking and shifting fills the air around me. Clothes are ripping, and howls echo through the trees. I thought the war would be at the Moonstone Pack, but I was wrong. The war is coming to us.

Tearing herself away from all the possibilities of insults she could have fired at Ace, Gwen came to realize that she wasn’t just having any old conversation with him and that they were actually in a war, like, they could die kind of war. Gwen looked behind Ace and smiled, a Paria-Drae soldier rounded the corner and had spotted them, and as quickly as that happened, Gwen had raised her gun and shot him. The bullet went through his head and he dropped dead on the ground. Gwen hoped that she would be able to get headshots for the duration of the fighting. She did not want to waste bullets and half kill a guy.
