3. After a time, as Raeann became a speck in the sky, Bella decided to go for a walk. She had grown so used to life moving at a fast pace that now that she was on sabbatical, there was entirely too much time in the day. Wandering outside the Kingdom's gates was very freeing, and she realized just how much she needed this. ROSALINA'S POV "Happy birthday, Rose!" Grinning, I walked towards Selena at the bar of the boisterous nightclub and gave her a big hug. It was April 5th. My birthday and I couldn't believe how fast time had flown by. I blew the candle on top of a small chocolate cupcake with pink frosting and colorful sprinkles on top. I turned twenty-three this day, but I didn't feel any different. I was still the same old me. The loud, outspoken, and opinionated girl. I was a living example that maturity didn't always come with age.

Indeed, she is human. Fuck!!! "I clocked seventeen on February 16th." Sophia answered. "She is older than you are." Hearing Owen's amused voice in my head had me scowling while the other two smiled. "We are of the same age!" I defended. "Yes you both are, except your birthday is not until May. Doesn't this mean she is three months older than you are?" Owen gasped while I felt like punching him. "Three months and some days. His birthday is not May 16th but May 25th." Caius added, his tone even more annoying than Owen's. Wyatt looked like he was enjoying a show.

Bella roll her eyes They all finished eating and went to their various room Bella called Jesse to inform her about her birthday party. ("On her 18th birthday") It was night already and her uncle just gave her the family treasure which had been locked since the time she was born. It can only be unlocked when she clocks 18. Now that the wolf is settled in, and you've had your first change, your body is beginning to catch up and heal quickly. "So I can go home soon? I mean, yeah, once a month, I grow fur and fangs. That's not such a big deal, right? Turning into a vicious beast once a month isn't anything new for any female over the age of twelve. I can handle that. But otherwise, I go back to normal, right? Her parents were dead, she lived with her uncle and his family who doesn't really fancy the idea of her living with them.

(Lily POV) Today is my 14th birthday. There will not be birthday cake, singing, or a party. Instead, we are attending a funeral. My sister's funeral, to be exact. Before my sister... died... we had a large party planned for me. I normally do not have a big party, but 14th birthdays are a really big deal to werewolves. They are the day that we first meet our wolves. The next monumental birthday is our 20th birthday; that is when can first identify our fated mates.
