Halsey is panting hard behind him, holding the rod. “Shut up!” She spits at the man. Jo squeals and hugs her mother who scoops her up in her arms. Nathan lets out a sigh of relief and runs to hug his family. “Are you alright?” Halsey asks Jo. “Are you hurt?” “I’m fine!” Jo squeaks. “But the other bad guy ran away!” “We’ll have to find Lincoln!” Nathan says. “This ends today.” Halsey nods at him. Damien’s group have arrived on their floor. Halsey turns to Damien.

Belinda asked. "How bad can it be?" Jonas asked with a shrug of his shoulders. "I absolutely don't want you to see how bad it can be so I am going to just prepare something really simple" Belinda replied. "I guess I will be paying another visit to you soon so I can have a taste of how bad it can be. And if you don't show me next time, that's better. I will just have a reason to pay upore and more visits" Belinda felt her heart skip a beat. She gulped down and tucked her hair behind her ears.

My brain is like some kind of machine or some shit. What I got from Andrew is that everything he says makes sense he's just speaking in a different language. A small, traitorous flutter returned to my chest. “No,” I whispered fiercely to the darkness. “He is trouble. You have a plan. Stick to it.” Yet even as I tried to push the thoughts away, a quiet voice in the back of my mind whispered that Aiden Voss might not be as simple as the rumors said. And that terrified me more than anything. I turned onto my side, hugging my pillow tightly. Stay strong, Emily. Don’t fall. But deep down, I already feared the fall might have already begun.
