The Book of Deceive
I saw something, moved a bit closer.
My breath stopped. In front of me a large boar stood, he was easily two or three times larger than the normal one. The boar turned. I stood like a statue.
“Go your way,” the boar said, looking directly at me. “You’re just a passenger, nothing more.”
“I’m looking for Barnar,” I stood up.
“Get out from this forest, continue onward, and you will find Barnar.”
I walked away, mounted my horse. The horse, like me, was eager to leave the forest. Rest of the road was peaceful, a few houses, nothing more. The countryside was almost too peaceful. There was something strange about it. Something, that wasn’t normal to me.
