Picking up the remote, I began to navigate through the various movie options available. In the midst of scrolling, I turned to her, curiosity pricking at my mind "What’s your favorite movie?" I asked, genuinely interested to know more about her preferences. "I have a couple of favorites" she began, a thoughtful expression crossing her face "It might sound a bit unexpected, but I really love 'Rain Man' and 'I am Sam'" Her revelation did take me by surprise. Tate It’s brilliant. I absolutely love this movie and Liam and I haven’t been out to a proper cinema in ages. Usually we hang at his house or mine. Downstairs my father had a full screening cinema room put in. You can sit easily twenty people in there. Because dad is well connected within the movie business he knows a lot of celebrities and we’re often able to get premieres early. It’s a huge perk of being my dad’s daughter. My favorite movie I watched so far has got to be Maverick. God, I absolutely love that film and Tom Cruise. Anything with his name stamped on it and they’ve definitely got me.

They’re strangers pretending to be other strangers, yes, but they show us truths about ourselves we’d never admit otherwise.”

She rolled her eyes and turned away, but not before I could see the blush and the smile at the corner of her lips. Seeing her smile like that made my heart clench. She was fucking beautiful and colorful. Not in the dress kind, just the way she makes my life seem. Sometimes it’s just so perfect that even though I’m the older one in the relationship, she explains a lot of concepts about life and living to me. It’s like seeing life through a better prism and having a front row to watch her just exist makes my day brighter. ******* I snuck a look at the Patek 350 on my wrist to check the time and was even more irritated.

You, my lady, need a moviecation.” I scoff. “And what does that mean?” He snickers. “It means that you need me to educate you on good movies because you are sorely lacking. I just hope that your tastes in music are better because if it isn’t, I don’t know if we’ll work out.”

Then turned her head to face the screen. I don’t even know what has happened so far in this movie and at this point I don’t even care. Kissing Ali is way better than watching some movie about a fat Marshmallow. I swear, this thing reminds me of that Pillsbury Doughboy, except he doesn't use a hat and he’s way bigger than that small creepy creature.

Aurora asked her friend, she didn't see how watching movies was any better than her plans of baking and catching up on sleep. "Well for one your plans were to be executed alone," that was true, watching movies although cliché ones was better than baking alone. "That your dress could drain the life out of anything," Megan continued and Aurora rolled her eyes at her, Megan was so dramatic, her dress wasn't that bad.
