Still, packing her brother’s thing is the winner because they don’t have rice to be cooked. What a shame!

My pulse deepened, and I tightened my focus. The branch bent toward me. It did not jerk or snap; it curved smoothly, as though the space around it had softened and yielded to my will. Leaves brushed together with a muted rustle while the wood shifted from its natural position, lowering until it hovered within arm’s reach. The strain of holding it there tugged faintly behind my ribs, not painful, but demanding concentration.

I stared at it in disbelief. Half of the enormous tree was completely charred, its bark blackened as though it had been struck by lightning or consumed by an uncontrollable fire. Yet the other half was perfectly healthy.Green leaves covered its branches, and tiny flowers bloomed along them as though nothing had ever happened. The contrast was almost impossible to comprehend. One side was dead, and the other was alive.I had never seen anything like it. “It’s beautiful,” I murmured. Alexis glanced at me. “Well, welcome to the Witches' Meadow. so I started to follow the little branch dancing right and left , like a brown rattle snake in mating season I would say . the branch became two then three then bunches of branches all going and leading me some where, and I am following it out of curiosity, if I stop to look behind me , they grap and push me forward, as the way became baved for me all trees making a way even pushing rocks , Shrubberies coming closer to each other leaving enough space for me to pass through, I looked behind to see all my trace is being erased , even the rocks are being build in a wall behind me by the branches , it did give me chills of creep but somehow i felt the greatness of it .

excited Elena rushed to the door to see what Rob had gotten for her. She opened the door with excitement which quickly changed to confusion. All she could see was Rob standing in front of her drunk and shirtless "Uhm uncle what did you get for me?" She asked. She started to snap, when a thick long branch snapped against the carriage, missing Eli only because he had been quick enough to dodge it. More and more came their way, sweeping against their carriage with a loud whoosh, the horses unrelenting on their race to death. "What is going on? What is this? Who is doing this---" her questions reduced to silence as the havoc continued. Like a flash, it came back to her. The vision she had seen when the witches wanted to take the power of the Bearer from her. It was like she was in the vision once again, seeing the struggling bundle of red shadows, as it tried to tear away from the bunch that were of the same color.
