“Go back to where you came from!” he yelled back.
“It’s okay, I’ll go back. The problem is, I don’t know the path back,” I yelled back. I looked back, and all the town’s women came out—some carrying their children, some just looking.
“I don’t care, just leave!” he yelled back, and I was over it.
“How about you come outside here and show me how much you want to make me leave!” I yelled back, and for some minutes, only silence prevailed. Then, a crack on the door. I held one of the swords thrown, not knowing how to wield it but still standing my ground.
