He was out of his depths here. Thomas and William both are close enough to touch the men. Thomas suddenly moved with unbelievable speed grabbing Billy and moved amongst the graves. Before he even could utter a word, he found himself beyond the gates looking inside. He barely noticed Andy running down the street. Billy had lost his balance and landed on the wet ground. He tried looking around but sees nothing. He can still sense something moving around him but his eyes can’t seem to catch whoever. “Why are you back Billy?” William talked behind him. He watches his son scrambling to get onto his feet.

“Miss Castellanos and Gamma Myricks have no alibis. They have no evidence to disprove the charges against them. And their behavior here today only further implicates them.“ They’ve already made their decision; I can see it in their smug expressions, in the way their gazes linger on me like predators circling prey. I glance over to see how Billy is faring. And its not good. He is practically trembling. His fear is palpable, his shoulders slumped and his head bowed. I can see the self-loathing and self-blame in his eyes. He understands that it is because he has such a weakness that it is now being taken advantage of.

"I'm gonna put my papers in a year from now, Richard's been after me to come work for him. I been thinkin' about it." An idea came to me as Walt continued jerking my arm up and down. "Walt, I need for you to do something," I said. He finally stopped pumping my arm. "What's that?" he asked. "Come here," I said. He and I walked to the edge of the building and looked down the street. There, under the streetlight, sat Billy John's car, in the same spot it had been the night before. "See that car down there?" I asked.

Black is my favorite color—it reflects what's inside my soul so well: everlasting darkness and bitterness. "You're leaving already?" I peer up towards the ceiling. Billy is wearing only a pair of washed-out jeans and a necklace with a bear tooth. He carelessly lights a cigarette inside his cabin. "Yup," My answer is short. Billy laughs. His blonde hair is sweaty and glued to his neck, and my heart nearly stops at the sight of his playboy muscles. There is a heart tattooed over his brawny chest, but I suspect there is nothing inside. "Can't you stay longer? I was just about to make pancakes for breakfast. I'm not good in the kitchen, but pancakes I can handle,"

“Oh, sorry, brothers! Wrong tent. Didn’t mean to interrupt anything!” The two men exchanged wary glances, one of them subtly reaching for his weapon. Billy raised his hands in mock surrender. “Alright, alright. I’m leaving. You guys have a good night.” He exited the tent casually, but as soon as he was out of sight, he bolted toward the rendezvous point. When he arrived, Charles was already there, waiting in the shadows. “What did you find?” Charles asked. Billy recounted the encounter, emphasizing the rogue tattoos. Charles’s face darkened.

"If you want to help me, you'll teach me what I need to know to pull this off." Billy stood next to me, then took a step closer to Harold, until they were inches from each other. Billy was a sizable male, though not as broad or tall as Harold. Next to him, I was reminded of how young and inexperienced we were. Harold had a few decades on us; he was stronger and faster, even after nineteen years of captivity. "You will do whatever it takes to ensure she comes back from this alive," Billy asserted. "And you will be her second when she challenges for alpha."

Billy said. Lawrence looked up. Goldman slowly stirred the jar of shaving cream as he watched. “Sure, come in,” Dalton said and stepped aside to let Billy in. He closed the door. “Hello, gentlemen,” Billy greeted happily. “Hey,” everyone said in a low voice. Patty stuck her head out of the kitchen doorway. Everyone was surprised to see Billy because he really had no reason to come to their cabin. He was a rich kid and they were working men. Billy wore blue jeans and a yellow shirt with a collar. His feet sported the new Air Jordan’s.

He smirked, his hands raised to show he was unarmed… for now. “Mia Valisteen. I’ve been dying to meet you,” he drawled. “Get to the point, Billy,” Mia said, her tone sharp. “What do you want?” Billy’s smirk widened. “Straight to business. I like that.” He leaned against a crate, his posture casual but his eyes calculating. “My brother and I don’t exactly see eye to eye these days. He’s been cozying up to Dylan, playing the loyal lapdog. But me? I see potential elsewhere.”

I yell over my shoulder, tired but I’m not letting that stop me. I take the hottest bubble bath ever and it feels amazing. I have the jets going, hitting my back and neck, easing all my worries at the moment. I take my bath and put on some nice clothes, I put some perfume on and light make up as I trail downstairs. I hear laughter and a few voices coming from the back deck. I look out back and there’s Alpha Wyatt and his Betas, Taylor, and James and my three best friends Jade, Amelia and Jackson—with his mate. “There’s the woman of the night!” Jackson shouts.
