"Just let me die of shame," I groaned.
"Not until you give me a kiss," Lucas demanded, gazing down at me with a boyish grin.
I sucked my lips between my teeth in protest. There was no way I could kiss him without scrubbing my tongue with bleach, caustic soda . . . Cillit Bang.
Okay, maybe that’s too dramatic.
