I took a sip, and it felt as if I had just tasted the most vicious thing in the world. My throat dried just by taking the first sip, and the bitterness made my skin crawl. “This is not just an ordinary tea, this is related to your next test! Have you ever noticed why the crowd is always attracted to you in a bad way? Why are they always after you? Either constantly trying to hurt you or force you into something you do not want?” She began to walk in front of me.

I was no different from ‘the others. And it infuriated me how fucking bothered and bitter it made me. The feeling was almost gut-wrenching.

Oh well. Both my mates were begging me to listen to their poorly crafted excuses but I knew there was nothing they could say to fix what was broken between us. Rejection was inevitable. I just wanted to get it over and done with. Their continued pleas were only making me angry. My words were filled with bitterness, hatred and fury as they poured from me and I just wanted it all to stop. The truth was, I didn’t hate them. I couldn’t bring myself to hate them no matter how badly they’d hurt me. But I wanted them to feel even a fraction of the anguish they’d caused me and I knew it would be strangling them through our bond.

Now, before I make this next step, I need to make that decision. Is this anger ever going to go away? It sometimes borders on hate. And hate is something that makes your heart bitter…I think that we have already established it. But how can I be bitter and hate someone that can bring the greatest joy to my life? I should see him for what he brings to me, the way he makes me whole. I must put aside the small fact that I am, after all, just crazy in my head and that my Bipolar does not justify for my actions of the past few days.

“Listen carefully. I want you to feel the same way I do!” His possessiveness was innate, but to Harper, it sounded harsh and grating. She let a small, embarrassed smile tug at her lips. “Can feelings be forced?” At her words, his eyes darkened. “Harper… I’m a man who would die for you. Are you not even a little moved?” Harper lifted her head to look at the man, whose eyes were filled with a restrained anger. Unconsciously, a bitterness settled in her chest… And slowly, that bitterness turned into a burning sensation, pricking at the tip of her heart, leaving her uncomfortable.

“Fuck, I’m bitter.” Someone might have laughed at me. I’m sure Marek wanted me to show the same level of anger, if not more, that he had for my father. Honestly though, I could barely conjure up any deep feelings. Marek stirred things in me I never thought I’d feel again. Emotions that I’d stuffed down so far I didn’t think they still existed. But he was an anomaly.

Every word, every touch, every shared memory had been tainted, distorted by the revelation of Lucy's betrayal. His fists pounded against the unyielding air, a futile attempt to release the pent-up frustration. The anguish clawed at his chest, threatening to tear him apart from within. He could taste the bitterness of betrayal, a bitter aftertaste that lingered on his tongue. The world around him seemed to blur, his vision clouded by the storm raging within his soul. His heart pounded against his ribcage, its rhythm a harsh reminder of the pain he endured. He could feel his breath coming in ragged gasps, the air heavy with the weight of disappointment.

She felt like an everlasting thirst had been quenched. Who will even have the strength to cry when an angel is standing before them? "I'm sorry about this. Please forgive her" he added. "It's okay," the waiter muttered. A mixture of emotions swept through Miranda's body. The fact that he was being nice to a stranger in her presence, made her heart bleed. Just what on Earth was not attractive to her? When will he ever look at her with such deep affection? For a moment, she felt like a lost fish in the vast ocean.

'How disgusting. I looked at him calmly. "But now my feelings left to you are hatred." After saying that, I slowly sat up and looked at him. "Do you know why my mother committed suicide?"

he contorted “Because I am telling you the truth? Is it too bitter to stomach?” I stared at him stunned. This man sitting beside me was not my best friend. Julian was never this bitter. I had never heard him speak to me with such venom in his voice. It didn’t feel like just light anger, it was almost like he had some bitter and personal resentment towards me and I just didn’t know what to make of the sight unravelling in front of me. “Where the hell is all this coming from?” I asked, “You’ve been acting like a ticking time bomb for weeks and I was letting it slide because I thought shit I didn’t know about was happening with you, but this is going too far”
