“I better set the table.” Over lunch, Ted and Ricky asked about the Blotters in the Manor, so I gave them a quick review of the family tree to explain who they were about to meet. And Brandon brought up what Joseph had told me, that something they’d used on their first investigation had torn the separation between their plane and ours open. That caught their attention, especially when I added that their IR lights were upsetting for the Blotters. “Then how’re we supposed to investigate?” Ted asked. “During the day?” I replied. “Or with regular light. I never understood why you go around in the dark and still expect to see anything.”

I get up and sit next to him and he grabs me in close. I use the app on my phone to send the first light buzz to Blake's prostate. Blake gasps immediately "Oh wowww" his eyes widen and shut and widen again "oooh fuck" I up the vibrations a couple of notches and Blake tenses up "Too much" he gasps and I let it go back to a light buzz. He breathes a side of relief "I want to try it" Louis states "You're gonna have to wait till it's out of my ass buddy" Blake says with his eyes closed

The building's silhouettes suddenly became the dark night sky and the lights from their windows suddenly were twinkling. "Isn't that beautiful?" I asked when I saw a broken stoplight, the red light was blinking and the green and yellow once didn't seem to work. I thought it was aesthetically pleasing, under the gloom of the night, along the empty streets and silently passing cars. The slow blinking of that stop light seemed to harmonize with the quietness of the evening. I looked at Edgar and he was frowning at the stop light. "Pretty much could cause traffic, goodness, that should be fixed," he said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Look, I really have to go now okay?" "Come on Blue, I really do want to see you again." Alex managed to smile at him, unable to say the same. In response, he simply said, "Good night." Seb's shoulders fell as he let out an exhale. "You too. Good night, Blue."

My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. So for right now, it is a goodbye unit next month. Sorry for the delay. -L.N.F

Only light. Only waiting.

He began to row the boat downstream. It wasn’t long before we came upon another heavily forested area. The sun was going down and we became blanketed in darkness. Thank the goddess for my Lycan vision because I wouldn’t be able to see Brax’s face right now. He didn’t seem concerned with the lack of light, but he strategically moved about the tiny boat and blew a flame out of his mouth to light a torch that was mounted on the front. His flame is blue, so the torch illuminated a light that seemed to make things look more like it would in the daytime. The flame of the torch didn’t reach too far, though it was enough light for us to see by without using our enhanced vision.

The blooming chromatic light came into focus as she curved her head It was continuously blinking, emitting bluish embers, like a firefly. It took Alicia a while to figure out that the light was emanating from the guy's hand. He was specifically pointing his hand at Alicia's forehead. His irises, like his side, began to turn blue. Alicia was certain it wasn't a light show. She was very knowledgeable about all of the gifts.

"Your father gave me that the night he died." Silence. Heavy silence. Then suddenly— BOOM! A massive explosion echoed from outside. The entire house shook violently. Everyone screamed. The lights went out completely. Darkness consumed everything. Then Lily ran to the window. And her blood turned to ice. Because out on the island— the black tower had begun glowing. A faint blue light. Pulsing. Like a heartbeat. Once. Twice. Three times. And then— a second light appeared. Near the base of the tower.
