Arriving back at the manor, Ansel immediately felt the chill in the air. He took off his coat and handed it to the butler. “What’s going on around here?” he asked. “As of late, there always seems to be issues here.” “Everything is fine, sir,” Charles replied, hanging up the coat. “Is there anything else you need?” Ansel raised his eyebrow. “No, not right now. Are you alright—” “Charles,” Charles said, curtly. “My name is Charles, Sir Ansel.”

A cold yet mocking voice was heard, making Charles look in the direction of the source of the sound. "Who's there?" Charles shuttered. Slowly, the men in black started to move aside, paving the path of the intruder. A man dressed in a black Armani suit walked in, looking as proud as a peacock. Charles's jaws slacked as soon as he recognized that man. "Y-you!" "Yes, it's me," The man smirked, glancing at his surroundings. "How does it feel to stand this much helpless in front of your enemy?" "Weylin Turner, don't you fucking dare to play with me!" Charles huffed, gritting his teeth.

"Evelyne... was Kaelen's mother. Not mine." Charles’s eyes widen slightly, a sudden, fierce realization breaking through his calm facade. "Kaelen Blackthorne... the Alpha of the southern division. You are his mate." "What is she to you, Charles?" I whisper, taking a step closer, my curiosity overriding my fear. "Why do you have her portrait on your desk?" Charles stares at the photo, his grip tightening on the silver frame until the metal groans. "Let us make a pact, Lyra." "What kind of pact?"

It was impossible but he couldn't stop the tremor of hope that ran through him. "Gimme." He tried not to make the excitement he felt overtake him. He had an image to keep after all. The butler was a tall slim blonde, clean shaven but the greys in his hair showed he was older than he looked. He was groomed neatly too, the well cut black suit he wore hugging his figure nicely. His pristine black shoes seemed to glow in the dark, and his facial expression gave away nothing. He walked gracefully towards Chelsea, a sense of elegance around him. Chelsea wanted to punch his face. He's never punched anybody in his entire life but he was willing to try.

Grey approached cautiously, as if not to scare me away. Maybe I had a fight-or-flight look on my face. Who knows? I mean, I was a nervous wreck, and to top it off, determination and anticipation were killing me. This is what you wanted, Aubri, a chance to have a word with Mr. Thornton, so put on your crown and get this done, I scold myself. Extending his hand, he said, "Good day, young lady. My name is Mr. Ivan Grey, and I am Mr. Theodore Claude Thornton's Right Hand."

Renee looked around at the formally seated members of the Grey family, with less timidity than in her previous life. Just as she was about to speak... Steady footsteps approached from behind. Everyone, except the family patriarch, straightened up respectfully. A tall figure walked past Renee. The butler took the coat from his arm and nodded, "Mr. Grey." "Mm." Carl acknowledged coldly, giving a slight nod to the patriarch before taking his seat. He never once glanced at Renee. As if she were beneath his notice. But Renee stared at him intently. Until he sensed it and lowered his gaze to meet hers.

“You are my mate. Regardless of whether we have done the ceremony yet, you are my Luna.” My cheeks flushed at his words; the thought of being a Luna had weighed heavily on my mind, but now was not the time to dwell on it. “Come this way,” the butler said, clearing his throat. The butler was a tall, lanky man with hair so dark that it was like charcoal. He walked in long strides, his head held high, and his hands clasped together behind his back.

-If he wants to run, that will make our session very promising. The grass around our location crunched noisily as my new chief butler ran towards us. He drew my entire focus from my thoughts with his movements. He was noisy on his feet in comparison to Erden. I frowned. Charles, the new butler, was young, much younger than Erden, but sadly that meant that he also greatly lacked Erden's grace. I mean at least Charles wasn't actively trying to kill me…yet? But was there any use in listing the positive aspects of Erden now?

Charles has already opened the back door of the car so that Grey could drop me carefully in his black truck, the seat next to him. Grey seem not to be withdrawn from anything black, almost all the coats in his wardrobe are black. Black boots, black car black T-shirt.. A few people glance at me, but they said nothing as they focused on going back to their houses. When Grey got into the truck and turn on the engines, Charles took solid steps back into his red truck in his black boat. He doesn’t stay in Grey’s house, but close.

Hana spoke out loud as the man had now gotten to them . He bowed gently showing his grey hairs and bald head" welcome miss. My name is Charles. I'm the butler. " They bowed and greeted him . He led them to inside the house where Micheal and his brothers were already waiting for them . Having gotten used to seeing them in tailored suit and tie, it was kinda jaw dropping for them to sit them sitting comfortably and laughing amongst each other wearing sweats and short sleeves shirt with their always 'sleek ' hair disheveled.
