She looked up, saw me, quickly picked up her clothes from the ground, and ran off Lord Raven put on his black robe, tied it around his waist, and sat down on the couch. Beside him was a tray filled with five black blood serum from the wild wolves. He reclined on the couch, took out a vial of serum, and slowly injected it into the veins on his neck. "Ughhh!" He groaned in pain as he injected the black blood into his body. For twenty years, this had been his routine, leaving me curious about why he continued to inject the wild wolves' black blood into his veins. What was his purpose? What was his mission in intentionally making the wolves wild just to extract their black blood for his own use?

It should be illegal to look this nerve wrecking. The first three buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing a patch of clear slightly tanned skin. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up to his elbows, showing off the prominent veins that ran up his back hand. I felt the breath hitch in my wind pipes as our eyes met, his mesmerizing green stare made my cheeks flush and my knees go weak, it was like I was paralyzed as I stood there while his eyes still roamed me. "I don't think I've introduced myself. Damon Blackwood" his husky voice made my heart rate pick up. A smirk crawled unto his features as he stretched out a hand for me and I just stared in awe, his words sinking in.

Raven hovered in midair, revealing his true form—sharp black horns, enormous wings, and flames from hell flickering everywhere. Under the night sky, he slowly opened his eyes. His pitch-black vertical pupils overflowed with murderous intent.

“Well, actually… your highness. A car won’t come to pick you up—” “You are coming with me, omega.” Flinching at the deep voice, I turned towards the door, where my eyes met Raven’s. My eyes widened slightly as I took him in. Raven was dressed in a casual dark gray shirt that hugged his chiseled muscles and black jeans. He completed the attire with a black jacket, which he styled with black boots. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows in a hot contrast of black and gray. Through his long hair that hung loose on his shoulders, I could see the silvery dog tag pendant resting over his chest.

“Is he deliberately trying to drive me insane?” Raven was always associated with dark colors—black, navy blue, and dark brown. Those were the only ones he wore. To him, pink was a color that would ruin his image. It was so far down on his preference list that it wouldn’t even make the top thousand if he had a choice. That color reminded Gia of Caius, who would be delighted to receive a pink sweater as a gift. Still scowling, Raven ripped off the label and put on the sweater. Thankfully, the pants provided were black. Due to their unexpected stay, they had no choice but to accept whatever the host had prepared.

“I thought it was created by Emmett Keller.” Raven didn’t seem all that surprised by my question, which told me she knew about my relationship with Emmett. But she did grimace. “It’s true that Emmett created a powerful poison,” she explained. “Initially, I was just trying to recreate it. Though I failed, I managed to create a poison that was slightly different than his, and I named it ‘Black Marks’.” “Slightly different?” Anubis snorted. Neither of the other men knew what to say to Raven and it seemed like she was waiting on us to say something. “So what’s your plan, Raven?” I ask “Excuse me?” It wasn't what she was expecting to be asked. “This, it’s part of your plan, right? What do you hope to achieve? Do you want Damien to reject you? Do you plan on killing everyone in some kind of revenge plot for your brother? What is it that you, Raven Black, wants?” “I don’t know, Abraxas, maybe I want you to tell everyone how you are mated to a Lycan!” She folds her arms across her chest, seemingly pleased with herself.
