She had to do something fast in order to gain the upper hand, or else she was going to die today. Using a move she had learned from one of her sparring sessions with Gabriel, she latched her front claws into the black dragons neck and wrapped her tail around the lower half of his body, effectively locking them together. Using her back claws, she began scraping the scales off the black dragons underbelly. Heedless to the black dragons screams and his attempts to get her off of him by scraping at her own scales, she continued scraping away the scales until she finally reached the flesh underneath.

"The dragons are very selfish in not helping each other, though I know Bastian tried. He could do more for Laryn. They could do more for each other." Megan added her knowledge, "Tahr once told me it is in a dragon's blood to collect treasure. If someone does not protect what's theirs, the dragons have a compulsion to take it. Other times, it’s gradual, like slowly discovering a missing piece of yourself.” But Jerry, not entirely satisfied with the answer, gave Dragon a challenging look. She started but was stopped by the glare from Elena. “Now!” Elena said sternly.
