It was truly quite an accomplishment, even if I wished it wasn’t there.
Before I reached the school, I shifted back into my human form and paused on the periphery of the forest, taking it in. The last time I’d been here, I’d passed out, and Ben had had to carry me home, so I hadn’t really checked the school out in its finished state. It reminded me a lot of the school in France. Several large marble steps led to the front entryway with a huge double wooden door, with stained glass panels. Above them, the inscription, “School for Mages” was clearly carved into the stone.
