Then she said conversationally, “You know there’s no such thing as black with blue-tipped roses, right?” My mouth sagged open, before I blinked and shook my head, unable to believe what I’d just heard. “Say what again?” “Roses only come in shades of white, red, yellow and purples or variations and mixes between those. Anything else is artificially created.” Still slowly shaking my head back and forth in adamant denial, I said, “No…no, that can’t be right.”

Behind us, a lush forest of vibrant green stretched endlessly, framing the scenery like a dream. Nestled within the trees was a vintage estate, its architecture timeless and elegant. Ordinarily, such an isolated house might have exuded an eerie vibe, but this one didn’t. Instead, it brimmed with life, its stone walls draped in blooming roses—lush, extravagant, and impossibly beautiful. Clusters of red, blush pink, soft yellow, and creamy white roses climbed in vibrant waves, creating what seemed like an ocean of blossoms. I gasped, excitement bubbling up as I recognized each bloom.

Then she reached for my perfume.. fuck! my favorite one and sprayed it over herself again and again, until the room smelled like roses and smoke. “Blaire, whatever your name is,” I shouted in her head. “Stop using my perfume like you own it!” She rolled her eyes, smirking. “Shut up, Rose,” she said flatly. “Before I shut that mouth of yours forever, dumbass.”

Of course I wanted his number then I replied, "What is your name?" I sat my phone down so I could dry off and get dressed. Then like clock work another ping from I*******m. He asked, "What is your name beautiful?" I began to blush then replied. "My name is Elisabeth Rose Freeman ,but everyone calls me Beth", I messaged back. He then replied, "Vladius Lee Sinclair, nice to meet you Beth". I then in return sent my number to him. I finished getting ready for the day. I was planning on cleaning up my dorm room.
