Ruby POV Everyone warned me to be careful of him. I should have listened. Sebastian was a blond beast with dark green eyes, eyes that seemed to swirl with darkness, though they shared a shade of purple like mine. It was as if light and dark were constantly battling within him, with darkness holding its ground inside while light flickered on the surface.

"Don't come here; I will beat you to death if you come near." But the black wolf didn't mind; it still didn't stop. How come... A familiarity popped into my head as I looked into the black wolf's eyes. "Ryan," I exclaimed happily. Indeed, the black wolf is Ryan. He and Diana are very similar when transformed, except that he is more extensive, and his eyes are like his feathers, a jet-black color. "It's the rebels," Mahra told me in a frightened voice, "They're here." Just as she spoke, men dressed head to toe in black appeared at the end of the hallway we were running down. They were armed with knives, spears and bows.
