She had received an anonymous threat message from the assassins too. At the other end of the room was Sam. He'd almost been murdered in his home at Petals Creek if not for the timely arrival of one of Grant's spies. Sam spotted a bloody bandage around his neck where his attacker had cut him deep with a knife. Thankfully it wasn't too far from his artery before rescue came. So he had to be in this hideout with us because he was as good as dead on his own. Nova felt like she owed him so now Sam was with us on this trip as well.

he bellows furiously. As if losing the weapon had activated a failsafe buried within his chaotic mind, Sam’s spine jolts unnaturally like a broken-back snake as he tries to provoke his shift. Pressing his hands onto the floor while his claws extract, Sam thrusts himself upwards and allows his animalistic side to come to light despite the deadweight being imposed against him - transforming beneath my hold in a bone-crunching melody before throwing me carelessly to the side as if I were nothing more than trash. Wasting no time, my delayed reaction costs me as Sam rushes towards me while I pounce to my feet just a moment too late. With an outstretched hand, his thrashing paw hurtles towards me

Callie exclaimed, “They are going to burn us alive if they don’t knock us down first.” “We are going to be fine,” Sam said, pulling away from us, staring at the tree behind us. His irises swirled with a slight green hint to them. It reminded me of Hunter’s eyes when he was about to start a fire. “What are you about to do?” I asked him. “I’m going to try something a little unorthodox,” Sam replied. “How unorthodox are we talking?” I asked nervously. But he never got the chance to answer me. The third hit knocked the pillar of the island out beneath us. Sam clung tightly to us and held fast to the tree.

“Ryden just told me that I’m an abomination, a destroyer of the world.” “He doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Samarah spoke again. “And you do?” I snorted. “Do tell me, Samarah, at least before you die. Let the truth out. Be useful.” “Your blood is the only thing that can destroy the book.” “Wow.” I rolled my eyes. “It all started with my fucking blood, and it’s the only one that can destroy everything. That’s fucking amazing, don’t you think?”

In Melo direction he could see a pool of blood was already forming. Sam went back into the task on hand as his combatant evaded another blow and launched himself into the air. The warrior flipped himself over his head and landed with human-like grace behind him. Anticipating his next move, Sam raised his whip as it land and wrapped against the warrior sword with a loud clang. He pushed upward with his arms and legs, knocking him off balance. He kicked out backward with his leg and his booted foot slammed into the warrior stomach, sending him backwards into the waiting arms of Melo. Sam placed his hands on either side of the warrior head and gave a sharp twist, snapping his neck. The carcass

And if they were, what was Samson supposed to be if he scared away that supernatural freak of nature? I began to remember how the madman who survived a headshot from my gun desperately begged for mercy once he saw Samson. How did Samson crush the man's skull and splatter his brains with ease? He then turned to me, looking unphased and indifferent, as if he did that kind of gruesome act daily. Recollecting our duel, I realized how much Samson outmatched me in strength and skill. He was probably some deadly serial killer who led a shady underworld organization of assassins. I got that assumption from the madman who disclosed that he had to kill me before his master arrived. The only one to arr

{SAM’S POV} Sam was still reeling. That scene inside the mobile home had been so intense, he still couldn’t process it. That creep. The knife. The struggle. His cheek. And then Samantha. Killing him like that. It was unbelievable. Who was she? As he sat in the roadside diner, across from her in a booth, he looked her over. He was more attracted to her than ever—but also wary now. Cautious. She looked totally relaxed, sipping on her vanilla milkshake, and he couldn’t understand. Was this the same chick? Here she was, this totally cool and hot, awesome chick, who he loved hanging out with—and yet she had also been that crazy, psycho girl that totally killed that creep without even blinking an

Gaura attacked him and in that fight Ken got a cut on his forehead while he also had a mark on his body which was a prove that he was the one who lost in that war. "Just because you can hold a sword doesn't mean you can be a samurai." Samuel mocked her once again but this was the last mistake he made that day. Gaura charged at him. Samuel moved and the sword passed near his ear and pierced in the wooden table behind. Samuel instantly became sober and looked at the sword in horror. Gaura pulled the sword out of the wood and again attacked him but he ran around bed. Now Gaura was chasing him around the room while destroying the expensive items. Soon both were breathless and only the big bed wa

As soon as Samuel landed, hundreds of knives and spears were directly inserted. Samuel suddenly retreated, and there was a faint trace of blood on his body because of the knife and spear. However, there was no fear on Samuel's face, only a playful smile and his bloodthirsty eyes. "I want you to feel the Asura Hell in advance before you die." As soon as he finished speaking, eight figures of Samuel shot out in all directions!

Anishta covered her ears with her hands while pressing her head down and Gyan also helped in bringing down Samar and his men but it would not have been so easy, they were all skilful shooters. "Kill everyone but I want him alive" Rajan and his team came into action as they got order from their boss and they surrounded them from the other side and attacked him for which Samar was not ready at all, within a few minutes, his men were killed and he was on his knees in front of Tapish, bleeding from both his hands from the bullet wounds. “Kill me if you want to be safe” Samar hissed earning a chuckle from Tapish “You will die but not that, I have decided something special for you which you will k
