He’ll tear your heart out, and you’ll be the one left picking up the pieces.” The couple sat frozen, their faces pale under the dim bar lights, and before either could muster a reply, Sky turned on her heel, leaving them staring after her as she made her way back to her seat. She could almost feel their eyes on her, but she didn’t care. Let them think she was crazy. Let them think whatever they want.

We can do this ourselves.” Sky let out a long, tired sigh. “You are so stubborn.” “Deal with it.” “Fine,” she snapped. “Then tell me your genius plan.” I hesitated. Then said, “I’ll let you out.”

Jaelen watched Azxel bend forward, his palms flat to the floor, his ass lifted high up then flicked his gaze to Sky. “So,” Jaelen said casually, “when are you letting him go back to his normal hair? Or blonde, even. This color’s… weird.” Sky threw his head back and laughed out loud, genuine, delighted. He licked his lower lip slowly, his eyes gleaming. “Why don’t you ask the love?” Sky murmured, referring to Azxel. He leaned toward Jaelen, his voice low and teasing. Then, softer, he smirked “Or… why not join us?”

Her hands were above his stiff body, clasping each other as they united in the centre of her head. He looked at the sky where his admirer laid. The shinning crescent moon. It was laughing at him for doubting the diviner and spokesman of the gods and he laughed too. The moon smiled at him sheepishly for going against an order directly from the gods and he smiled too. He could no longer embrace the physical beauty of the world as he felt his power of sight leaving him.

"I just think you should be aware of how quickly that could shift." I stopped walking and turned to face him. "Are you implying that the second Skylar is single my boyfriend is going to go running back to her?" I kept my voice even. He raised both hands. "I'm not implying anything." "Because that's what you just said." I kept my voice flat. "I said it changes things," He and. "I heard what you said." I looked at him directly. "I trust Tyson." Something moved in his expression. "You trust Tyson Blackwood."
