BLAISE Ace and I tumbled across the grass until we finally halted, pressed against the rugged base of a massive rock. Naturally, I knew that in a fair fight, I could easily overpower Ace I could beat him to a stupor. After all, he was merely human, while I was a werewolf—stronger and larger. However, I believed I deserved this punishment, so I allowed him to land his punches. I suppressed the urge of Jasper, my inner wolf, to defend me as Ace's fists rained down on me, causing blood to flow from my nostrils and mouth. His fury had blinded him to reason.

Queen Of Ace What is this novel all about? =If you haven't read my first novel, His Fragile Flame, I uploaded in this app, this is only "a part" of it but can be read as "stand-alone". This story was written in different character's perspective and her back story before His Fragile Flame. You don't have to read the first book to understand this novel, and I think it's better if you read this before that because HFF has spoilers.

I took out my phone and walked out. I found Ivy playing with her and she kept giggling. I took a picture of them before joining them. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked. "Max called yesterday at night," she Okay, and?" I asked. "Ace is searching for you. He is holding a meeting with the Spanish and Mexican mafia leaders tomorrow" she said. I was in shock. Why does Ace want me that much? "We need to leave as soon as possible," she said and I nodded my head.

We are happy. "Luna?" My maid knocked softly. "They’re waiting, Luna." Luna. The word still made my chest ache. Golden Blossom Pack. One pack. One Alpha couple. I took a deep breath and stepped outside. And there he was. Ace. Black suit. Golden eyes. The same jaw that used to clench when he hated me. Now it softened the second he saw me. The whole clearing went quiet. Two hundred wolves from both packs watched, but all I saw was him.

Ace got his blue eyes from his mom and black hair from his dad; he was the perfect combination of the two. Seconds later, my parents came in carrying plates and drinks. After placing them on the table they took their seats next to each other beside Mr Romano. I was sitting at the end of the table, Mason was in between me and Ace who had his legs crossed on the other chair and his head resting against Mason's arm with his phone in his hands. He really didn't give a fuck as to where he was or that his parents were present. He just say what he wants, do what he wants and where he wants.

How could Ace not be shocked? 'Am I really living in an apocalyptic disaster? Why does it feel like bumping into people from the past is so damn easy?' Ace couldn't help thinking. He frowned. "Ray, what are you getting at?" Ace was tall—slightly taller than Ray—and far more solidly built. In terms of raw strength, he completely outclassed him. If this escalated into a fight, Ace was sure he could take on two Rays by himself. To be a useful lackey, Ace had worked out religiously for years. Obedient and effective—that was his value.

That's what his mind screamed and what he felt. (But you are an asshole too. Fck you, Ace) Now, over the past few weeks, a lot of things happened that made him realize it wasn't bullets or grenades that posed a threat to him, but rather the Williamson's goddess. Savannah is the real danger for Ace.

Ace regains his amused expression, a grin growing on his face. He moves his arm out of the Judge's torso, and I roll back my shoulders, pushing down the urge to lose the fight against the bile shooting up into my mouth because of the sound. Without saying anything, he moves, and before I can even notice him reaching the only wolf still standing, he has already knocked him down. The large wolf has no chance against his partly lifted form, struggling only for a few split seconds before Ace gets a good hold around his neck and pulls its throat out.

A boy raised a hand and walked forward. "Now that's the guy who I fought against the other day. I found him grabbing Bee's hair from behind. A coward." Loki actually tsked. "MinnieMouse," she was called, raised a hand, and stepped forward. "Victor." "Who's that?" I asked. Ace shrugged. "Some water boy." Loki giggled. "Ace nearly drowned him when he challenged him to an underwater brawl. But he's good. Ace had a hard time." "A little," Ace admitted and eyed Victor carefully. I watched him as his jaw tightened. But he grinned smugly.
