Black Siren wasn’t just a cleanup plan. It was scorched earth—removal of all data, all digital traces, burning identities, crashing stock interests, withdrawing from shell corporations, erasing false passports and switching from Level 1 to Level 2 code. A complete rebirth. She closed her eyes and exhaled. “Let them celebrate capturing Widow,” she murmured to herself. “Let them believe they’ve won.”

The score was pretty even and I was looking forward to tipping it in my favour. I look intently at the black wolf, willing it to understand that I was perfectly capable of holding my own in this battle. Blackfur laughed as it got closer knowing that just a claw would be enough to send Xavier’s wolf flying across the gathering and cracking all the bones in his body upon impact on the floor. “This is madness,” Jimin muttered. “Stop! Xavier Stop!” Silver ran on with purpose, not even reducing his pace a bit. “Ready father?” Silver muttered. “Always ready,” the voice replied in his head. Just a few meters away from Blackfur, Silver dove high in the air. Blackfur stood still, smiling, waiting and calculating for the little wolf to be close enough to the ground for him to bat away, but he did not expect what was coming next. “Now!” Silver roared.
