I look around the battlefield again and I see a pup and her mother who didn't make it to the safehouse and 3 rogues are advancing on them so I rush towards them and jump on the back of one rogue biting down on it's throat until it stops moving then I face the other two rogues who attack me and I dodge as I look at the mother and child and gesture with my head to run and they do. The two rogues attack me again, and I scratch one in the face with my claws, distracting it while I bite down on the other rogue's throat, tearing out his throat. The other rogue attacks me from behind, and I kick it away with my hind legs before turning around and biting at its neck, but it dodges and somehow manage

Rogues are often bloodthirsty, so that makes their focus and skill decrease exponentially. We claw and bite at each other, him trying to draw my blood out. I take that as an advantage and bite him in all the right places. But this rogue is strong, and his fur is quite thick. I can't sink my teeth into his hide. He must be an old rogue because new ones are easier to defeat.

My warriors coughed behind me, formations breaking as the smoke burned their eyes and lungs. “Poison!” What a coward. I lunged through the haze, but that was the second trap. Chains snapped upward from beneath the dirt, wrapped with silver spikes. They shot toward my legs, biting into my fur before I twisted away. One clipped my hind leg; fire tore through the muscle where the silver scraped my skin. The rogues howled from the shadows. They’d prepared this battlefield long before we arrived. The Rogue Alpha vanished inside the smoke… then hit me from the side like a boulder dropped from the sky. His claws ripped across my back while I was still turning from the trap.
