he hissed under his breath. “For what?” I asked desperately. “For us to decide how far we’ll go,” Blade snapped. His hand tightened on his gun. “And for you to figure out if you’re really ready to bleed for him like you swore to Viper.” The leader laughed, the sound jagged and cruel. “Touching. Family reunion in hell. Pity it won’t last.” He pulled the hammer back. I screamed, “STOP!” Everything froze—the guns, the men, even the smoke hanging in the air. My voice cracked like lightning.

"He was never willing to accept do that, he was trapped and had no way out. He tried to leave, first by hiding and then being a sort of spy for the Feds. But Venom doesn't allow for exits, nor does he forgive snitches." My knees quaked under me as I felt myself swaying. I gripped the edges of the table to keep myself from tumbling down. My head pressed down as I tried to breathe in air while it felt like my chest was about to explode. My heart feels like it was crushed while running a marathon. I caught the unit by the high-collar of its suit, my fingers crushing the reinforced plating, and slammed it into the granite fireplace. The stone cracked. The Harvester’s head caved in with a dull, wet thud of hydraulics. Silence rushed back into the room, heavy and jagged. I stood over the wreckage, chest heaving. The Phantom Blade dripped with a mix of synthetic fluid and the faint, silver sheen of my own blood where the kickback had nicked my thumb. I didn't look at the kills. I looked at my hands. The silver threads weren't just lacing my veins anymore; they were burning through the skin of my wrists, glowing with a violet light that refused to fade.

He winks at me, then grins at Drake. “Move a muscle and I’ll blow her pretty little head off.” “Nooo!” Baylee screams. Caden grabs her, growling. “Don’t touch her. Don’t touch anyone. We’ll go with you.” Layla lunges forward, enraged. “NO!” A shot rings out. One of our warriors collapses—shot in the head. Drake yanks me back as I gasp, a piece of my soul tearing free. My vision blurs with tears. Drake’s arms lock around me, his pain just as raw, but controlled. He holds it back—for me.

I leaned down, pressing my lips to the scar, feeling him inhale sharply beneath me. "What other stories are you hiding?" I murmured against his skin. Instead of answering, his hands found my hips, fingers digging into the soft flesh there. "The question is," he said, voice dropping to that dangerous rumble again, "what stories are you going to let me write on your skin tonight?" The words sent heat pooling low in my belly. I sat up, studying his face in the shifting light. This man was dangerous—not in the way that would leave me broken, but in the way that might leave me changed. And God help me, I wanted it.

BLINDED BY REVENGE CHAPTER ONE Bellona had the same terrifying dream again. She saw her parents being pursued and then killed right in front of her. Their blood flowed on the ground as their blank eyes stared up at her. Their killer who wore a mask pointed at her. "You are next!" he said menacingly. Bellona woke up. Her heart was pounding very fast and she still felt the fear that she had felt in her dream. She got up from bed and went to drink water.

BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

“Were you there at Blade’s when he brought her in? Did you see her Monday night?” Shyla didn’t say anything but she did close her eyes. Greer stared down at her face. “What do you know about this?” he asked her softly. She opened her eyes and looked at him steadily. “There is one thing Blade is very good at and that’s bragging. In all other aspects, he’s a total moron but he is good at bragging. When he got back Monday night, he and his buddies were drinking heavily. He kept boasting about making up to them all that fate had taken away from the club. He told his club that the day they met Joey was the beginning of a wonderful relationship. That Joey might not be as smart as he thinks he is.

I can barely make him out through the blood in my eyes. "He killed my daughter when she tried to tell others what he was doing to the omegas. This is what I think he deserves." The man pulls something out, but I can't see what it is. I feel a sharp, burning pain in my chest. He stabbed me with a silver blade. I scream as my wolf dies. The pack begins throwing rocks again, and the last thing I remember is the omega spitting on me before the darkness takes over.

Blade looks between us and he looks to Hunter and asks, “You know where I live, Alpha?” He nods his head, “I have a general idea.” “If she ever wants to see Raya then bring her there. Right now, we’re on a time restriction and this is too distracting. Deal?” Hunter looks to Blair who is practically trembling as if she’s a leaf about to fall off the tree in the fall. He looks back at Blade and nods, “Deal. Thank you.” Hunter puts his arm around Blair and leads her back towards the woods. She seems like she’s in too much shock to argue with him. Blade turns back to Arthur and asks, “Can we go inside?”
