So I look like an idiot anytime I'm trying to get a look at something further without contacts or glasses on. "You ok?" Blake's standing to the side of the kitchen, a glass of water in his hand as he watches me carefully. He's studying me, not like a predator, but with curiosity. I push the bridge of my glasses back up. "Yeah, I'm just close to being legally blind without my glasses." I try to fan the pizza with my hands. "Ok, I don't actually qualify as being close to being legally blind but it feels like it sometimes." I glance back up at him, his overly handsome, sculpted, maddingly sculpted facial structure. He raises an eyebrow at me.

“Very slowly. Don’t rush it. Just take your time.” I listen to his advice, nod, and do exactly that. I don’t rush or start blinking rapidly. I just slowly open my eyes wider. Nothing. I blink. Still nothing. Panic rises in my chest. I blink again. That’s when the darkness finally gives way to something blurry and hazy. My chest rises sharply as a shaky breath leaves my lips. Tears instantly gather in my eyes, making everything even more unclear. “I...” My voice cracks. “I...”

Stopping. Switching bassinets. My vision blurred. And behind the glass, watching calmly— Lexa. Smiling.

Knock, knock, knock I heard a male voice yell for someone to calm down, and I straightened up as the door was opened promptly. A somewhat short and stout man stared back at me with confusion. He was entirely bald, and wore a stained grey sweatshirt. Rubbing his full black beard, he looked me up and down with two sunken in hazel eyes. “Are you lost, Synok?” Are you kidding!? You can see the outline of my breasts in this sweater. Fuck you, I’m not your son.

A frown grow on her face as she stared at me, "What's wrong?" I must have gotten her all worried when I stared at her while stroking her and yet said nothing. I grin, "Nothing, honey, I just feel so lucky to have you is all." I mentally countdown to the last seconds and as I got zero, my glasses turn off and I take them off my face returning to the state of blindness and I mentally begin to calculate how much longer before the night is over. I stretch out my walking aid and set it on the floor and I feel the intense gaze of Anna on me and though now in the dark, I can still make out her beautiful face and it lights up my being.

He selected video four, and the holographic screen expanded a little more by playing the video. A man of about 25 years old with long black hair with a beautiful bluish glow, he has a slightly fierce male face, thanks to his sword-like eyebrows and his phoenix eyes with dark lashes. The glow of his blue eyes was very relaxed, which was very much at odds with the person's entire fierce appearance. He looked at the camera and smiled kindly, his gaze softening so much, as if the person recording could soften this wild wolf just by looking at him.
