Its sharp hum vibrated against my palms as I powered it on. I gave Quin a signal, a single nod. She raised another Dream Blaster. “On my mark,” I said, tightening my grip.

The beast collapsed, its ribs dimming to a dull grey.

She lunges forward, her hand darting toward my throat with a hidden, high-frequency sonic blade, but Clyde is faster. He doesn't let her reach me. His massive hand snaps out, catching her wrist in mid-air with a sound like a cracking branch. The shadow-aura around him flares, a localized, suffocating vacuum that instantly neutralizes the sonic blade, turning the metal to brittle, grey dust. "She’s poisoned," Clyde growls, his golden eyes narrowing as he detects the familiar, metallic tang of the Silver-Sieve in the woman’s blood.

She closed her eyes, whimpering as she fought herself for control. She suddenly went calm. Her eyes morphed into a glowing white as she opened them. The following second, she screamed. Soon as her scream exploded through the place, a heavy windstorm like a hurricane engulfed the place, the rain lashing down heavily, causing a flood. Every creature who heard the sound exploded like there was a time bomb on them. Standing structures and trees began crumbling as the storm grew, carrying things through the wind. Creatures and things were affected by the sonic effect, but never the people with the NC device. The sonic effect skipped everyone who wore the device, including KR members.

They unleashed Resonance Blasts (concentrated pulses of sound and Isotope energy) that slammed against the Sonic Shield, making the blue dome flicker ominously. "They’re trying to shatter the shield!" Kazimir roared, drawing his Underwater Combat Blade (a specialized, plasma-edged knife designed to cut through hardened materials). "We have to break through!" He moved like a steel torpedo, kicking off a splayed leg of one of the Sentries. His blade, crackling with focused energy, sliced through the creature’s chitinous armor, severing a limb. The Sentry shrieked, a high-frequency whine that vibrated through Elara’s suit.

I bark. Silas is a blur of frayed iron and sparking steel. He slams into a support beam, using the momentum to swing upward, his heavy blade grinding through the lead drone’s ceramic casing with a screech that vibrates through my teeth. The machine sputters, trailing black pixels as it hits the floor.

POV: Blaze Ryder "Stop pulling at them, Blaze! You’re not just hitting shadow; you’re hitting your own words!" Rhea’s voice was a frantic chime in the oppressive silence of the Between. Blaze didn't listen. He roared, his russet Alpha flame exploding from his skin in a desperate, jagged halo as he threw his shoulder against the translucent chains binding her to the throne. Without thinking about the bomb, Lucien's warriors attack Luther, but the entire area is engulfed in smoke, enabling Luther and Falcon to escape. When the smoke cleared, everyone watched in sympathy as Crescent Moon's great Alpha screamed in pain while holding his Luna. The device from earlier is now on the ground and Markus quickly took it. "No--- no! Please, sweetheart. H-Hold on a little longer, please!" Lucien whispered as tears kept streaming down his face. Lucien then noticed something from the arrow. Green smoke is emerging from the weapon and he knew that the arrow was not ordinary. "Aurora! Get me Aurora!" Lucien's voice boomed and Markus hastily left to get her.
