Selene’s POV The old man with long beard looked almost like a half-completed wolf. He had a hunch back and hairs on his face. He didn't look human in some ways. The old man dipped the knife into the bowl and brought it out stained with something blue and slimy. I stared at him, confused, wondering what he was up to. He held the knife upwards, muttered something I couldn’t understand, and rubbed it on each side of my arms and then my forehead.

Considering the gasps, it could be Ryu who was injured… or not. My hands reached my mouth as I got to the scene. I had not the slightest idea what had happened; all my assumptions were all incorrect, and the truth was horrible. I was so sure that his sword didn’t graze Kyle even for a bit, so why? Why did his face burn up so badly that it affected him all the way to his legs? He only put his sword back in its case; such power. “Clear this mess up, incinerate the body, and keep the ashes in the red room.” He said, his face plain and unmoved by the sight before him.
