he screamed, stepping back. I grabbed the bleach bottle and hit him on the side his head as hard as I could, causing him to step backward. I took advantage of his momentary unbalance as he rubbed his eyes, knowing that I only had a second. I unscrewed the cap from the bleach bottle and threw the contents at him, causing him to scream out in pain as bleach covered his face and hair. I grabbed the broom and, finding sudden strength, rammed my foot into the wooden handle, breaking it in half.

He smiles and replies, “Just call me Greg, and please do keep it a secret. ” He nods and says to him, “I understand, it seems you are a secret yourself. Why all the secrecy? You have not committed any crimes have you?” He doesn’t speak rather he nods and walks towards the room, this time, he doesn’t stop him. After the long sentences, he allows him to enter the room, he walks toward her slowly and he looks down at the sleeping beauty. He is about to remove his mask but he sees her stir in her sleep so he stops and walks closer to her. She opens her eyes and stares right at him, he looks down at her and says to her,

My heart sinks as I realise the lid isn’t on the bleach, and it pours over me, burning my skin and ruining what’s left of my dress. I bite my trembling lower lip, vowing not to let her break me.

I pick up the mask again. I place it close to my nose. I’m hoping to get a scent from it that might help in finding out who this mysterious girl is. The scent sits quite well with me. I know this scent, but I don’t know why I can’t place my hand rightly on who has it. It jams my head that I have to drop the mask abruptly on the bed. It’s more like there’s a contradiction between my nostrils and my head. The scent coming through is causing an unexplainable mixuture that’s giving a harsh reaction.

So, while she found no way to save herself, Aspen fell to her knees and waited for the worst to happen. “The mask is a very creative one,” Kailin commented while his hand displayed a little bottle. “It can never come off easily unless this dissolver is used.” “It can come off itself if you leave it for a few more days. Besides, as Lance said, the dissolver is a rare one, you don’t want to waste resources.” He held her chin and looked down at her as though showing her the might of his power. “Don’t yap too much, Doctor Sabrina. Focus on finding a good excuse that will save you from the charges found against you.”

I muttered, leaning closer so he could hear me over the buzz of the crowd, “Reagan doesn’t even know the names of half these people.” He smirked, his gaze sweeping the room. “Everyone’s wearing a mask.” “It’s a masquerade party, I think.” I spotted a nearby table stacked with ornate masks, clearly intended for anyone who needed one. I grabbed two and turned to Blaze, holding one out to him. “Here. Let’s blend in.” I slipped my mask on—a delicate, silver piece adorned with tiny crystals—and gestured for Blaze to do the same. He took his time, studying his black and gold mask like it was some kind of alien artifact before finally putting it on.

Freya grins. I lean down and pick up one of the masks, it's from The Purge movie. I toss it to the side, it's probably not the best one to wear in this situation. I take a balaclava that has a skull printed on it and hand it to Axel. He pulls in over his head and I almost swoon. The mask covers most of his face apart from his eyes, which look even more piercing in the mask, and damn if he doesn't look dangerous and sexy as hell. “Perfect, just some black paint around his eyes and he will look so badass, and completely unrecognisable,” Freya beams.

Naked would be much better. “Later,” Chase promises. “Come on, we’re here.” He hands me a mask, and I place it on, following their lead. Each of them wears a different mask—creepy as hell clowns. If I were afraid of clowns, I’d probably be cowering right now. I don't have a clown one. Instead, I’m wearing a horrifying bunny mask, which feels more fitting for a horror movie than a hunting game. This whole setup feels more like the Purge than anything else, especially with the masks.
