I lick my lips and take the tissue from Blake, dabbing at my eyes so I can focus on the ceremony again.
“I doubt it comes as a surprise to anyone here today that I, too, wrote my vows as a letter,” Haven says, pulling a small purple envelope out of a pocket of her dress. Again, the guests chuckle and she opens it and pulls out her letter to Wesley, written with sparkly purple ink on a white piece of paper. Her voice trembles as she speaks, her eyes brimming with tears as she stares into Wesley’s eyes, reciting her vows from memory. “Dear Pen Pal…”
