I folded, coughing so hard my stomach cramped. Someone grabbed my face and I flinched violently, the world tilting as I was forced upright and the blindfold ripped off. Light burned my eyes and I winced, blinking hard through the blur. Everything doubled. My vision was shit without glasses—smears of shadows and color. But one thing stood out. A man. Massive. Buzzed hair. Covered in ink. Crouching low in front of me, studying me like I was meat on a slab. His fingers dug into my chin and tilted my head to the side.

"I think we made the right choice," Christian says as we exit the facility with a Golden Retriever on a lease. Marley was the first dog that ran up to my legs the second we entered the room. I can't believe I even lied to the dogs when all I wanted was to drop on the floor and start playing with them. And pretending to be blind in a place filled with people associated with real blind people made me nervous, afraid they would be able to see through me. Perhaps I was just still under the impression after Tamara found out about my lies.

The rooms' soundproofing system was, unfortunately, incredible, so screams couldn't be heard. I could see how smug the man was, and I realized why my colleague sounded so weird on the phone just now. So, they knew I would run into something like this. Unbound fury filled my veins. The man was as fat as a pig. I grabbed whatever I could get my hands on and smashed the man with it. I didn't care about losing this job or getting found out I was faking my blindness.

Trevor himself got off and opened the car door for the person sitting in the back. The door opened and a tall, foreign man with blue eyes and brown hair stepped out. He was middle-aged, but his bearing was still calm. Trevor did not know English and could only communicate with men through translation. That feeling was extremely twisted, and if not for Blake's instructions, he would not even bother to serve the foreign devil. Trevor directly brought the person to the medicine ward and made a brief introduction. Blake fluently spoke English as he communicated with Prof. Johnson.

“Blitzlicht,” Aki repeated the word to herself as soon as she heard it from the photographer. She let the foreign word roll on her tongue as though she could taste it, could see its physical equivalent again: Flash Light. “It’s incredibly bright,” Temujin agreed, reading Aki’s thoughts. “It’s from a new solution,” chimed in the photographer, who had brown hair, blue eyes, and very pale skin.

Seong outside. ~ At Dr. Pung's office. Jung-Ho and Mrs. Gwan are having a conversation with Dr. Pung. "It's been a while Mrs. Gwan." He smiles when he is done with the call. "Yeah right." She smiles back. "How is Sook-Ja now?" Jung-Ho asks impatiently. "She is awake." Dr. Pung says. "Really?" Jung-Ho asks excitedly while grabbing the doctor's attention. "But, there is a problem." Dr. Pung says and sighs. Jung-Ho and Mrs. Gwan sit in silence waiting for the doctor to continue. "She lost her vision to see." He explains and glances at Jung-Ho and Mrs. Gwan who are both shocked.

"I was beginning to think for a second that my prs enemy wouldn't be acknowledged, for I have become so invincible even to those who can see and have foresight than those who are blind" I turned around to a tall handsome looking guy, staring at me with glasses. He had blonde hair and looked more American than Italian.

Rowan’s face grew dark as he grumbled, “Our scientist is a horse of a different color. He was paralyzed, but fully aware of my actions. There is something very different and possibly dangerous about him.” “Then, let us hope that it is the scientist and not one of our own,” Samuel said as he continued out of the room.

Remembering the collection of his sperm, he added, “Among other things.” He waited to see if either Chloe or Jim would comment. When they didn’t, he took another deep breath and continued. “I know this sounds crazy and I do not blame you for hesitating in believing me. I told them repeatedly that I was not the one for this mission. I am a soldier. I have a poor way with words, as, sadly, you have already discovered, my dear Chloe. I tried to talk reason with the mad scientist, but he simply laughed and drew more of my blood.”
