18 Renai groggily parted her eyes, blinking recurrently. She squeezed her eyes before opening them wide. Her blurry vision immediately caught the warm hues of the breaking of the dawn. Her eyebrows quickly carved into a furrow. She looked down and ran her eyes on her body for any bruises or something. She was still in the same red silk robe, luckily unharmed.

I stared at the thing sitting next to me. It had Bryan’s face. It had his smile. It even had the way he tilted his head when he was thinking. But the blue circles in its eyes were dead. They did not blink. They did not show warmth. They just looked at me like a camera looking at a scene.

“I'll be back before you blink.” I blinked intentionally, and we both laughed. “Hey,” he chuckled, knowing I was playing with him. Bonnie put the blindfold over his eyes and he turned around making it easier for Bonnie to tie it.
