Rival's Contract Marriage

Rival's Contract Marriage

Grinning like he had all the answers and none of the questions. We laid back, the sky turning that perfect shade of soft orange. It was stupidly cinematic. Like the world had been holding its breath with us and finally exhaled. “Tell me something dumb,” Brandon said suddenly. “What?” “Like, something you haven’t had brain space to think about because of exams.” I thought for a second. “I want to dye my hair.” Brandon turned toward me, eyes wide. “What color?” I shrugged. “Something chaotic. Like silver. Or red. Something that says ‘I’m unstable but in a cool way.’”

Bound To The Alpha I Rejected

Bound To The Alpha I Rejected

Her expression was a carefully composed mask, waiting for it. "W…what happened to your hair?" I finally managed, the words clumsy. My eyes traced the impossible transformation. Her rich, dark hair was now starkly parted. One side remained its familiar deep brown, but the other… the other was a cascade of pure, shimmering silver, as if moonlight had been woven directly into the strands. The division was severe, beautiful, and utterly unnatural.

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

Mom asks as the group of us sit at Christine's salon. "What do you mean?" "She means you can't be messing with the bleach while you're pregnant. The blond you like your hair to be requires the roots to be bleached," Christine explains. "Well shit, I didn't even think about that. I guess I could go dark. No bleach for that." I shrug. "My real hair color is so drab, I gotta have something slightly different." "We'll look less like twins than we ever have," Justice quips. "You'll have a stomach, dark hair, a baby on your hip. A country song, if you will."

An Alpha for the Stolen Princess

*Ember* My stomach turned as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes were the same striking shade of blue that they had always been, but now they were heavily rimmed with kohl and shadow. My strawberry blonde hair was piled on top of my head in an intricate series of braids, not falling in a smooth cascade down my back like I was used to.

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Spreading out the individual strands, he moved them around. "Are you trying to take up hair weaving?" I asked. He laughed. "No. But you're right. There is something different about it. It's almost like your hair is absorbing light instead of reflecting it." He looked up, caught my gaze. "Does that make sense?" I nodded. "Yeah. But instead of the ash undertones, they're closer to blue." I twisted around, changed how the light hit my hair while looking in the mirror. "I don't know. That sounds crazy."

LUCIFER'S BANE

LUCIFER'S BANE

The warrior was not masking his or her feelings like the others and was visibly struggling to keep him/herself together. Beth stared at the hands of the angel, it was slender. Without touching it, she knew it was going to be extremely soft. Then finally she peeped at the hair of the angel and it had golden streaks intricately designed on it. Beth's eyes widened, only one angel had golden streaks on her hair like that. You have got to be kidding me!

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

He should love you as you are, Skinny said a lifetime ago. She shook her head. Squeezed her eyes closed. “No, no, no.” Gripped and sawed her hair. “He doesn’t. He wanted brown.” Pulled and parted and sliced. “He chose brown.” Chopped the platinum free, letting it fall to her shoulders. “That’s an answer right there. Brown not blonde.” Hair fluttered to land at her knees, peroxide strands littering the stranger’s wide knees and pudgy feet. Soon her palm raced over a bare scalp, fingertips discovering jagged and peeling nicks she never felt. Slick, bleeding cuts she failed to notice. The blade returned, the spit in her hand wetting the remaining tufts as she shaved close.

And she could see that the mark on her neck was glowing. "Oh my God, what is happening to me, what is happening to me?" she sobbed quietly as she didn't want to wake Kristen up. She closed and opened her eyes severally but still saw the same thing. It also seemed that her hair had gotten longer but the red streaks were too glaring. How would she explain to Kristen about what happened to her hair. She couldn't let her see this.

REJECTED BY ONE, CLAIMED BY TWO

REJECTED BY ONE, CLAIMED BY TWO

Blue eyes, blonde hair, and whispers in the wind. I woke with a start, unease clawing at my chest. This was the third night, the same dream haunting me. In the bathroom, I splashed water on my face, seeking solace in the coolness. As I lifted my gaze, the mirror revealed a shocker. My hair, once a rich blonde, now cascaded down my back in a river of white. Not gray, not silver, but a radiant, snowy hue, eerily reminiscent of the woman in my dream.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Eric paused and raked a hand through his crazy hair. For some inexplicable reason she wanted to run her fingers through it too. Like a work of art, Eric Stick’s hair demanded attention. It was long on one side—something to hold on to. The other half was sheared off short. She imagined it would feel soft and silky beneath her fingertips. A row of inch-long spikes ran from forehead to nape, separating long locks from short fuzz. It was shiny and ebony except for the long lock that curled around his throat and hung down to his left collarbone. By some strange coincidence it was dyed the same blue she’d chosen to dye hers—for the sole purpose of ticking off her mother—not a week ago.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Love this well written book! Thoughts & emotions are conveyed beautifully! The author makes you feel like you know the characters intimately w/o being excessive or mundane. Hot & steamy w/o crude vulgarity! I wish we could give gems at the end of chapter but that’s the app, not the author’s fault.
