The night sky burned with a crimson glow. The Blood Moon had risen, painting the forest in shades of scarlet. Its strange light shimmered on every branch and every ripple of water, filling the world with an eerie, otherworldly radiance. Aria stood on the cliffside, breath catching in her throat as she gazed at the moon. What sort of power is this? I look up at the full moon. It has turned red. “The eclipse!” Lucas looked up too. “It´s a Blood Moon!” Amelia was in awe by the sight of the now red moon. I turn to look at Liam. “Liam.” I let him go and he drops to the ground, coughing. I can feel it in my veins. An immense power is coursing through me. “What´s happening to me?” The pack converges around Liam and I. “Laura, what´s wrong?” Lucas asked concerned.

We're both breathing heavily and I open my mouth to speak but it's no longer me talking, my wolf has taken over and he wants to claim what is his. "Just say the word and I am yours." My voice is a gravely demonic version of my own and I can see from the reflection of her glasses that my eyes are completely silver now. A contrast to her deep golden iris's that shine brightly back at me. Complete opposites. That's what we are. Only the goddess knows why we were paired together. My canines extend as I wait for her to respond her eyes never leaving mine. Her answer is so soft, so faint, it's nearly lost on the wind. Nevertheless I hear it. "Yes."

I rise and bow to them out of respect. "Please sit down Lunas. What we are about to discuss is a bit shocking." I gesture towards the couch big enough to seat six people. Alpha Damien and Alpha David sit with their Lunas and wait for me to begin. "Lunas, the Moon Goddess has told me that your pups are the next Blue Wolves and you'll be giving birth under the next full moon." I decided to just rip the band-aid off, so to speak, out of exhaustion from this whole thing. Their eyes widened with surprise. Joy flashed across their face for a moment and worry replaced it.

Find their altar and destroy it, or make it so I don’t die until after the next Blood Moon. You can do it yourself for all I care. I have tried to escape, but these chains aren’t chains.
