When they reached the top, the elevator doors opened, and a woman with dishevelled hair lunged at them. She had sharp nails and aimed straight at Bianca. Instinctively, Frost stepped in, and the woman let out a scream, falling backward, her eyes wide and mouth gaping, like a black hole, seemingly bottomless. It was Betty! Frost and Bianca were startled and quickly went to check on her. Unexpectedly, Betty bent her body backward, and her head hit her buttocks, then she let out an unusually long breath and died. Betty's death was so horrific and bizarre that even the experienced Frost was stunned.

Violet walked towards her, and happily hugged her from behind, but a sharp grip on her hand made her squeal in pain. “Betty…why??” She asked as she struggled to free herself from her grip. Betty smiled, dipped her hand into her pocket and forced something down Violet's throat. Violet coughed so hard as the object traveled down her throat. “I have just fed you the Viper's throng, a deadly poison. I have taken care of you all this while, it's time to make use of you.” Betty smirked as she pushed Violet to the floor. She crossed her palms on her abdomen and walked around Violet who groaned in pain.

Dee & Jay both chorused – “A Bet?” Bibiana said – “Yes, a bet. We all know Dee can’t keep a job for more than one week” to which Danielle looked at her with a scowl, she smiled and continued – “but now that her dad has gotten another job for her as usual. If the boss turns out to be a man, single of course. Both of you will have to make him fall in love with you. Whoever turns out successful is the winner and the other will be tagged a wimp”. She paused for effect “for life”.

"But it's me, Dimitri. You drained my blood, and then you broke my neck and buried me." Dimitri cringed as he remembered that he did that. "Yes, for some reason you can access images from my memories, but as I said you are forgetting two major details. For one, Betty was a mute, we communicated using sign language and two, I didn't kill her, I turned her." The apparition drifted back a bit, her face morphed into a scowl. "Stupid vampire," she spat. "If this isn't Betty's ghost. I guarantee you guys that none of these apparitions you are seeing is real," Dimitri informed the others.

Alex replied coldly. Indeed, a shocking remark. This was particularly true for Hailey, who did not know what to think. She instantly regretted a little, asking Alex for help. This was not what she expected! “Damn it!” Betty was enraged and immediately sent her hand flying across Alex’s face. Alex grabbed her hand and slapped her instead. “How dare you hit me!” Betty was taken completely by surprise. Ever since her marriage into the Summers family, her status had skyrocketed, and everyone treated her with the utmost respect and reverence. Nobody would ever hit her!

How she stabed her three more times and left her on the cold ground. Betty slapled her hands over her ears to let out the cry Sophia made as she stabed her over and over again. Betty rocked her self back and forth, trying to clear the awful image imprinted in her head that would always remind her what kind of a monster she had turned into.

She looked back one more time ,found out that he was no longer following her. The cool night breeze was the only consolation in her situation. She saw light coming from a far distance. "Please help me .."That was the last thing she said before fainting. When i opened my eyes i was in a room. "Why do i always end up in a room."Beth murmured. "I see you have woken up."The man said. "Let me go." "Is that what you say to someone who helps you." The room looked like a motel, the lights were not too bright making the room look like an interrogation room.

She moaned, bending down to touch Beatrice's hair. "Don't you worry sweetheart? You have become something history will have to write down. The first cold-blooded vampire used as a sacrifice to calm down our ancestors you disturbed at the French quarter." She smiled and Beatrice's eyes widened. Her heart was hurting as hell and she could not take out the stake. She had gotten so powerless that it was beginning to hurt too much. She felt her eyes closing and soon enough blacked out! * * Herbert yawned as she watched some people begin to leave.

She gasped, her body arching as the past consumed her. “What are you doing?” she choked out, her voice trembling. “Showing you the truth,” I replied, my tone deceptively gentle. “The truth of how you died. The truth of who betrayed you.” Her surroundings shifted, the chamber dissolving into darkness. When the light returned, we were in the heart of the Silver Crescent Pack’s territory, the night air heavy with the scent of blood. --- Aria stumbled forward, her breath hitching as she took in the scene. Wolves lay scattered across the ground, their bodies broken and lifeless. Flames licked at the edges of the pack house, casting eerie shadows that danced like specters of death.
