It seemed that Beta had the same plan as ours, the only reason why they got ahead of us was because they agreed to meet back up in the middle after just five minutes. We headed towards the library where the first clue led us. We hold billions of words, one in a red, one in blue, one in yellow. It is renowned and entitled Despite the Dark Cover, It's Bright Inside. We immediately started looking for a book with a dark covering and has its title written in red, blue, and yellow. Beta was here at the library as well. I was searching at the lower shelves when I realized how useless it was to sweep the whole library for just one book.

Some of the colors shifted and moved away from my stretched hand, while others went still, or continued about their business. There was one color in particular that caught my eye. It was a brilliant sapphire blue, brighter than all of the others. The color was rich and vibrant. I moved towards it, propelled by something other than my own will. Just as my fingers slipped through the light, I was sucked forward. The darkness around me crumbled and shattered, as a new background came to life.

The old human habit of dressing fear in animal skin and calling it knowledge. But the silver on the wolf had burned. I had seen it with my own eyes. I opened the book again. Another section described “unnatural blue eyed wolves” as omens in one mountain region and guardians in another. I stared at the page until the words blurred. Blue eyes. My pulse kicked. The chair creaked softly as I leaned back and pressed a hand to my mouth. This was absurd. A coincidence layered on top of stress layered on top of too little sleep and too much coffee experimentation. Still, by the time I stood up an hour later, I was checking out six books.

“Do you have anything less bright?” The man took the book back and jumped to the back of the book. “Here. I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for somewhere between those pages.” Except, I had no idea what I was looking for. In each shade of blue, I saw Valerie. In each shade of pink, I saw her lips. And in those earthy tones, I saw her eyes. This was a bad idea. Grey. I decided on what was called ‘porpoise grey’ - dark and gloomy, just the way I was feeling.

the voice continued, and a shiver ran down my spine as I realized that it was emanating from the large, old book laid out on the table before us. As Aunt Agatha guided me to a chair and seated me, my eyes were drawn to the book, its pages glowing with a deep purple hue that seemed to pulse with otherworldly energy. As my fingertips brushed against the weathered cover of the Book of Shadows, a surge of energy coursed through my veins, sending shivers down my spine. It was as if the very essence of the book pulsed with ancient power, alive and vibrant beneath my touch. "What... what is this?" I whispered, my voice barely audible in the hushed confines of the cottage. But the book remained sile

“Yes, my cute sister?” “Mind telling Pink and Blue to be on standby?” “For?” “Ask Blue to preserve his energy. He will need it. If the enemies attack you, ask Blue to prioritize Pink.” Sly immediately understood the concern. Shadow was concerned about Pink and Blue. somehow, she could predict Blue and Pink’s actions. No one knew how she knew. “How’d you know– what if the roles are reversed?” He shook his head and changed his question instead. Shadow’s cheekbones rose. The usual mischievous expression. “I calculate all the probabilities.”

After countless checks of running through the numerous titles on the arrangement of different shelves, I find myself stopped in my tracks. Without any command, my hand reaches out shakingly as it grabs a heavy, blue leather-bound book with gold letter inscriptions engraved delicately in its spine, reading out, “The Blue Moon Pack.” I take a step back, staggered by my discovery and forgetting my original purpose on coming down here tonight. I look around for somewhere to sit, uncovering a covered sofa pushed at the back of the room looking as if it had seen better days. I set myself down on the musky seat; a puff of dust bursting into the air as I make impact with the worn cushions scattered

He said. Sybb’s brows knitted as he stared at Skye. “What do you mean?” he asked as his voice raised. He felt that there is a hidden meaning in Skye’s words. The others inside the bookshop heard Sybb’s voice and turned. Meanwhile, Blue didn’t turn since he had already heard what Sybb and Skye were talking about earlier. “What is wrong – “ Kulv was about to leave his seat when Blue stopped him. “Blue?” he called as he looked at Blue in surprise.

Ruby P.O.V. Blue Light Hall breathes like a chest that forgot how and is relearning. After the circle, after Calder’s last look and the door slamming winter behind him, the room does the holy work of returning to itself, benches dragged back into lines, mugs righted and children counted for the third time even though none have sprouted wings or vanished into beams.

Waist-high and glowing faintly, she looked like something out of a myth. The forest’s darkness bent around her, like even it didn’t want to mess with her. “Beautifully dangerous,” I murmured, smiling despite the exhaustion gnawing at my bones. “Just like me, huh?” Blue made that weird chirp-growl sound, almost smug. Suddenly, a dense mist rolled out across the clearing ahead. My hand went straight to my dagger. “Oh, come on. Not another one.” But before I could take a step forward, Blue’s body flared with a soft blue aura, her power rippling outward in a pulse that cut through the fog, the mist hissed, twisting and then dissolving completely, leaving behind a stretch of empty ground.
