Mage of Wolves
When I awoke several hours later, a bit of drool on the corner of my mouth, I remembered thinking it was so odd that I’d turn my entire pack of wolves into elephants.
“Hey, look who’s awake,” Ben said from his seat next to mine. The lights on the plane were dim. I couldn’t tell if it was night or day, but since we were going backward in time, according to the clock anyhow, I had a feeling it was still day time outside. “How did you sleep?”
“Weird dreams,” I murmured, wiping my mouth on the back of my hand and taking a drink of water. Maggie was seated across the row from us, reading a book. I wondered if she was saving going to sleep for her ride back to Paris.
