The Bancrofts of Sunrise Cove

The Bancrofts of Sunrise Cove

"Let's go a little later. I have some things to do." She dried up her hands on a towel. "In that case I'll go down to the lake and then I'll pick you up in say an hour? Is that enough time?" "Make it two. I have book club. Possibly three hours. One of the girls is bringing little chocolate glazed doughnuts. You should come!" Her book club has some of the most idle gossipers in Sunrise Cove. I wouldn't risk it. I'm past passing off for bloated. "No thank you. I'll go down to the river."

His Book club

His Book club

Yet here I was, in this room full of people who had chosen me, not because they had to, but because they wanted to. I smiled, a real one this time, and sat at the center of the circle. April clapped her hands together, bubbling in excitement. “Okay, enough of the emotional display. Let’s get to work. Book Club is officially back in session!” Laughter filled the room. We started tossing around ideas for the next reading list, but the discussion quickly turned into a chaotic mess of inside jokes and playful teasing. Maya insisted we include something “dark and brooding,” while Sammy argued for something “funny, because God knows we all need to laugh more.” April rolled her eyes and wrote both

His Hybrid Mate

His Hybrid Mate

I announced and all the people present murmured their assent just as I mind linked the maids to bring out the appetizers. Within seconds, the maids were placing different appetizers on the table in front of us. There were sticky baked chicken wings, crab cakes with horseradish cream, devil eggs with ham, ceaser salad spears, mini burgers and cocktail meatballs. Everyone took what they liked onto their plates while chatting amongst themselves. Ivy listened in on their conversations, giving her input every now and then. She seemed be more at ease now than when she'd just entered. "Misha, if you don't mind me asking, but while introducing you, Alpha Chris said that you were Alpha Hunter's mate,

Not knowing really what's going on, I remain skeptical. The waiter brings out the appetizer and sets them in front of us. "Salmon Cream Cheese Canapes." he announces and goes back to the kitchen. We both look at each other and I vow to continue this discussion later, but right now I'm starving and these smell good.

Charles and I order bourbon and Will orders a crown and coke. “I will be back with your drinks. Your menus are in front of you. I will be back for your appetizer and entree orders,” Steward notes kindly. Ari starts to giggle as she looks over the menu. “What is so funny?” I ask looking over it. “I can’t eat anything on the appitizer menu,” She laughs a little. I look over the menu: Bree with cranberries Shrimp Cocktail Escargot “I’m so sorry,” I shake my head. “We didn’t know when I booked this.”

Just read this book yet again, and it just keeps getting better. It might seem a little cringy, but the Moon Goddess has a method to her madness. I just might start the sequel here soon, and I hope that it's just as good if not better.

Why are people complaining when the story is not completed as yet? The story is good and sometimes things happens beyond our control. Let’s just hold the bad reviews until after the final chapter. I for one am enjoying the book so far. People need to chill.

Love in the Darkness

Love in the Darkness

"Let's go." We were seated in a booth as soon as we walked in. To my delight, there was hardly anyone there. The waiter came right away to get us something to drink. I ordered a lemonade, and Daphnie ordered water. We told the waiter that we were going to do the endless appetizers. He explained how it worked; the first appetizer you choose is a full order, and then order two appetizers at a time after that. It was pretty simple. Daphnie and I chose boneless chicken wings for our first appetizers; I ordered barbecue while Daphnie ordered buffalo. As we waited for our food, I noticed that Daphnie seemed like she wanted to ask me something.

I Choose You

I Choose You

My wine selection skills were more of the twist cap variety. “We’ll start with that for now,” Jacob said. “A bottle, please.” “Yes, sir. You won’t be disappointed,” the waiter assured us. “And are you thinking about any appetizers this evening?” “How about one order of the pear bruschetta with pecans and blue cheese?” Jacob said while once again eyeing for my approval. I nodded. “Another great choice.” The waiter smiled and then hurried off to start our order. “Make sure you order exactly what you want,” Jacob told me. “Don't even look at the price. Pretend they’re made up numbers or something.”

My Christmas Sweetheart: He is a Billionaire

My Christmas Sweetheart: He is a Billionaire

On the table, which was covered with white linen fabric, were Colonettes, bold bloom flowers, two bottles of exotic wines in small wine buckets, glass cups, some rose petals, cutleries neatly arranged, and plates that had different kinds of appetizers on them. “When did you set all these up?” Stephanie asked in astonishment as Sebastian dragged the wooden chair backward so she could sit. “Is that necessary? We are here now, we should think about the present.” He responded as he walked to his chair. She bounced her head shyly and looked at the delicacies in front of her. There was Chicken Pasta Salad, Hard boiled eggs, fruit salad, and grapes.

Ross replied. Tippa stood there somewhat stunned because she could see he was serious, but she remained professional through all his advancements and flirtation. "Uhm...maybe you would like an appetizer, Sir. We have king crab and shrimp cocktail with a bowl of warm Sunchoke soup." Tippa said as she looked at his handsome face that had her heart beat erratically as she fought to remain calm.
