Most times, she resisted the urge to ask him if he remembered any small and timid girl who was on the debate team with him. It was hard not to ask so she decided to use things she knew he would remember, like the book by Jane Austen.

“That is the beginning.” Imani writes in her notebook. “What if she says fine?” she says. “Ask her again in a different way,” I say. “People say fine because it is efficient. It is the answer that closes the conversation. Ask a question that cannot be closed with fines.” “Like what?” she says. “Like what did you want to be before everything else happened?” I say. “Like, what is the thing you do that makes you forget what time it is. Like, what would you change if you knew it would work?” I pause. “Questions that require an actual answer.”

The women seem to enjoy it too—something about discussing steamy romance scenes with a bit of eye candy in the room. The door finally creaks open, and I sit up straighter as they walk in.

Wait, choco-” he didn't let me finish speaking, and he immediately changed the question. “Next question, Hotel or motel?” Whatever he asks me, i always feel like i'm on a hot seat. “Hotel?” then they shouted again. “Is it exciting, ma’am? This is the next question. Is he muscular or handsome?”

She was amazed to see that it was everywhere. Even book clubs were talking about the book already and there were already groups created by fans of the book. The reviews were beyond what Tanya would have expected from an online book and the debates about it were just everywhere. All the while, everyone had one major question in mind. “Who is Unleashed?”
