It took him an hour to figure out how it works hahaha. He soon turned the book over to check it's title. On the cover, among the pretty colorful gems and butterfly designs is a title of bold golden letters that brought a sudden shiver to his body. 🌹Ruby and Aurelius🌹

As he grabs the orange books, he feels the hard cover and runs his hand on the embossed title – The Darkest Minds. He notices a weird symbol on its cover, it doesn’t seem to be out of the ordinary. A book has got to have an interesting cover, hasn’t it? As he opens the cover to explore its pages, something falls out – it was a bookmark. He picks it up from the floor and he presses it at the very back of the book to lessen the chance of it falling again. He feels the pages and one can tell how expensive the printing must be on this book. It doesn’t feel like ordinary paper. Becky asked again. The lady took her hand and take her towards the giant book name “Prophetic Gaze “which has a silver shiny cover. It has a huge golden lock. “What is this giant book”. Becky asked while touching the sparking cover of the book. As she touches the book cover, the strong rays emit from the book and glow the area around it. It is more like a dream. Becky felt a sudden jolt in her fingers which touch the area. She became shocked looking at the book and immediately pull her hand back.

Then I noticed the cover of the book, it has a hole round shape in it and an anchor then ship wheel in it. I look at the three objects in my hand and the book. I put two and two together and realized something. I connected the dots and placed the three objects into the holes in the cover of the book. I was almost blinded when it shined so bright. I let out a surprise gasp when the book floated and automatically flipped the pages. It stopped at one page. The book slowly landed back down on the bed. I let out a deep breath and decided to read what the book was showing me.

Ash chuckles, “It’s okay, we managed.” She nods, “Could I have the book to look at while we wait for Serena?” Kai nods and gets up to grab it. They had re-wrapped it in the silk scarf that Benny had given it to her in. She lets Kai unwrap it and place it on her lap. The book is clearly ancient, but the leather of the cover is in remarkable condition. But then it had been stored in a dragon’s hoard for years. The cover had an embossed phoenix on it, and a few gems in gold settings to highlight some details.

But I know deep inside that I don’t have the luxury or need to know. That’s not my purpose in her life. That’s not my assignment. "What book are you reading?” I asked her, gesturing at the book on the table. I noticed that it had two men on the front cover. “What is it about?” She points at the said book. "This one?" I took a sip from the cup then said, “Yeah.” “It’s a BL book.” I raised my brows. “BL book? What’s a BL book?” She smiled before answering and pursed her lips as she poured tea for me. She placed the pretty teapot on the tray and then looked at me with a funny look on her face. “BL book. It’s a book with illustrations of two grown men fucking.”

Felicity felt a familiarity to the book but could not remember where she had seen it before. Felicity inspected the book. The cover had a golden lining, a brown cover with no writings on it. Inside it was a book mark that was red in color. From a single glance, she could tell the book was extraordinary. Without the title, she could not tell whether she had read it before or not, neither could she tell who it was from. She set herself down on the edge of her bed before opening the book. In the first page was a message for her. It read:

Just more proof that Noah was a rich kid through and through. I snorted, reaching for the last book on the bottom shelf. It was placed weirdly from sight and it seemed to be wrapped with brown paper. Curiosity got the better of me and I ripped the paper away, wanting to see what book it was. Probably some first-edition Charles Dickens. But when I turned it over to look at the cover, my eyes widened. Two shirtless hunks tangled up together stared back at me from the cover. It could have as well been a cover for gay p**n.

After entering the library, I closed the door behind me and locked it to ensure no unwanted invasion. I walked to the farthest corner of the library where there was a small collection of books with their covers engraved in gold designs. My eyes wandered over the books before halting onto the one with black leather cover. It didn’t stand out much compared to other books but one glance at the pages inside and it is enough to catch anyone's attention.

There’s a soft thud, and the drawer on the nightstand pops out. Inside the drawer is a book with black bindings, along with a pen. There’s nothing else in the drawer, not even a picture. I pull the book out, turning it over in my hands. The cover is cool and leather. I’m sure it’s a journal of some sort, and I’m almost tempted to put it back, unread.
