Brie said, trying not to laugh herself. Another sharp crack echoed from the egg, silencing the room. Fifteen minutes later, the shell split apart completely, and a hatchling wriggled free a dark blue dragon with a crimson belly. The little creature flapped its wings as if eager to take flight. No one was surprised to see it was male. Through the mind-link, Trace told Mikan they would need to discuss the southern throne later. Mikan silently agreed.

He worked silently today, his usual banter absent as he mixed inks with intense concentration. When he began working, the pain was immediate and intense, the color saturation phase was notoriously painful as he worked ink deep into already tender skin. Raya clenched her fists in the sheets beneath her, breathing through the discomfort. After about thirty minutes of silent work broken only by the machine’s buzz and their breathing, Tobi spoke. “The dragon on my arm,” he began without preamble. “The one you asked about.” Raya turned her head to look at him better. “Yes?”

The Hall of Sacrul rumbled with the low growl of dragons. Fourteen great beasts sat in their true forms around a dais made of deepstar stone, a mineral said to have fallen from the bones of dying stars. Each dragon revealed its true form in silent contest, the weight of their might pressing against the air. Heat shimmered between them, an invisible storm of pride and restrained carnage.

The calm and quiet helped relax her distressed soul. As the whiskey spread through her body making her feel warm and tired she went to bed slipping into a sleep full of dreadful dreams. Maybe she even looked forward to seeing her brother. That was her only connection to her family. Dada... Look what I have made! A 9 year old Anya stood with her recent drawing very proud of herself. Their teachers had asked them to draw a family. She had drawn only her brother and a house next to a river which was full of fishes.

Does he have an artistic side? I walk over to one of the paintings, and I can’t stop myself from touching it. It is a painting of a beautiful Siver dragon against a dark backdrop. The dragon almost looks like the one on Salvatore’s arm. It looks ancient. Majestic… fierce, and wise... I wonder If dragons mean anything to him.

“Who did the artwork?” Junior perked up a little. “I did. This one’s a dragon. See the teeth?” Nevena leaned in slightly, squinting. “A fire breathing dragon. I love it.” He pushed out a real smile, “Can you draw?” he asked. “Stick figures and crooked stars. But I’m a fast learner.”She replied with a shrug. Unhesitatingly, Junior dug in his backpack, pulling out a marker, and handing it to her like a silent invitation.

“You are so beautiful, dark dragon,” Madchen reached her arms around his neck, never wavering her gaze. “As are you, Madchen, and I love you,” Drago crashed his lips onto hers, searing her mouth with his passion.Black wings erupted from his back, engulfing Madchen in a cocoon of protection. He didn’t care that he was standing stark naked in front of his gathering family, all he cared about was that Madchen accepted him for what he was, a dragon who had found his mate.

Making a mental note to pick up some books by the author for Andreena. ‘Based on the best-selling book series by Jenson Spellmore Dragon’s Lovers,’ Andreena settled against me and we watched the show for a few minutes before the main dragon came onto the screen. He wasn’t in his human form and I heard my mate suck in a breath. She glanced over at me before looking at the screen and then back at me again. “What is it, sweet Andreena?” I asked, reaching for the remote and turning the volume down so that I could focus on her.

I place it in the oven with some garlic baguettes and set the timer. Leading her to the counter to sit while we wait, I gently lift her arm to inspect the artwork on it. I am impressed, she has a red dragon design that wraps it’s whole body fully around her arm. The level of detail in this image is exquisite and almost makes it seem as though the creature could leap off her skin and become alive. I lift the sleeve of her t-shirt to be able to see all of it and the head of the animal rests on her shoulder. “This is amazing Angel, and you say you have one on your back as well?”

Then, with one small jump, Draco threw himself into the lake. The power of Albus, the White Dragon in the lake water, became a medium for the other dragons' magic stones power to be absorbed into Draco's body. The process of fusing dragon magic energy into Draco's body was perfect. The color of the lake changed and blended beautifully as the dragon's magic energy flowed into Draco's body. There were tattoos with a new color on Draco's body in ancient rune characters. On his back was written in draconic characters for every type of dragon that has been encountered, namely Fire Breath, Green Forest, Silver Metal. The three dragons' power gave color and strengthened the heart of Jergintarth's r
